We have over 300 members to this great group. I was wondering if anybody wanted to tell everybody on this group about themselves. Just kinda get to know each other thing. :-)

For all who dont know my name is Jason Pogue . I'm 23 from Kentucky, about 45 min south of paducah. I love Disney and this will be my 3rd time going. I know, I'm a late bloomer. lol I have a g/f 22 who loves disney also. Just not as much as me. We been together for over 5 years now. We have 3 dogs, boxer and 2 pugs. I'm a pretty easy going guy who loves to chat and make new freinds.I would like to think Steve for putting this site together. You have made my life a whole lot easier. On my 1st trip to disney which was in 99 I had a great time. But before we went I knew nothing about the place. when I got home I stumbled up on this site. I joined the mailing list which I'm still on today. Learned so much from them guys and Steve as well. Then got on this Forum and learned a great deal more from you guys. You guys have made Disney so much easier on me. For that u have made me enjpy Disney a whole lot for and for that I say thanks. :-)

I'll help get the ball rolling Jay.

My name is Clint and just turned 30. I currently reside in Edina, Minnesota. I've been here for three years but I grew up in Des Plaines, Illinois and have been going to DisneyWorld since 1979 (15 times). Luckily, I married someone who loves Disney just as much. We have been married for over 6 years and spent our Honeymoon at Disney. We have 2 Japanese Akitas named Kita and Tasha. We also have two cats..one is an orange tabby named Rylee and a calico named Roxie.

I found this site sometime last year and have been checking the site weekly since. I would also like to thank Steve for this site. I think it's a great forum for people who have the same love and interest in Disney to talk about their experiences and thoughts and ideas about one the most special places on Earth.;)

Okay, Jay, I'll play along.

I live at the Jersey shore, teach high school and work as a reporter covering both county news for a regional daily and covering pro hockey for magazines and such. I'll be 30 in a few weeks, so I took myself to Disney this past weekend to celebrate/deny the aging process. I went to Disney for the first time when I was four, and then we went every year for a bunch of years, and then I've been there every other year to every year since....lost track of how many visits that was, actually...but a visit to see Mickey always makes life seem better (even after I get home and go through my bank balance and charge receipts). Thanks to Steve for his dedication in putting together such a great site, and thanks to all who had advice for my last minute trek. :)

My name is Marcia and I live in Orlando, FL (yippie:D ). This year, I will be going into the 11th grade at Dr. Phillips High School. Nobody seems to know who Dr. Phillips is. My school is across the street from Universal/IOA. It destroys me. It's also very loud. On Monday morning, I go in to interviev for Tapestry of Nations. Besides Disney, I enjoy dancing, acting, and other various arts. (I feel like I'm writing a personal ad: single white female...) I have a ex boyfriend who will not leave me alone. (he currently is trying to send me an instant message.) I like cheese.

That's a good idea, though we are staying at Wilderness Lodge and definitely will be using our early entry priviledges. Thanks for the tip.

Hi--I am 37 and have been married (this time) for 7 years. We live about 25 miles S/SW of New Orleans. It's the beginning of Cajun country here and you will run into folks who have that cajun accent. I was raised in N.O. but moved out here when my job transferred me in 1983. I was a deli bakery manager for a now defunkt grocery chain for 20 years and last year the company shut down locations in and around N.O. so I found myself out of a job. My husband Don and I have four sons, Quentin,18, Ryan,13, Terry,9, and our little pasqualie, Don Jr.,6. My husband started a business painting and cleaning apartments. When the tenent moves out we paint and clean the place. I have been to WDW over 25 times and my husband had never been before he met me (says something about his ex-wives). He fell in love with the place and we have been about 7 times since 1994. We would go every weekend if we had the money. We hope to go October 11 thru 15 this year if everything works out for us. We also love Nascar, fishing - this is a fisherman's paradise, and Aerosmith-that's how we met. I love this forum and try to log online everyday to see what's new with you guys. Thank You Steve for creating such a wonderful sight for people like me who cannot get enough of Disney. I only wish Walt would have lived longer and I would have gotton to know more about him. The world has changed so much since 1966 and it would have interesting to hear his voice, and his thoughts on the events of the world. I also feel there was so much creativity that he took with him when he died.

Hi....My name is Tramp....aka Rich...
I'm a 51 year old fart...I live in lower Fairfield County, Connecticut. In the 60's, I had plans to go to college and "BE" someone but Viet Nam got in the way....
I served two tours in Nam in the USMC. I was attached to the first division in a elite force of 24 men that were involved in covert search and destroy missions in Cambodia and Laos. Several of my comrades never made it home and my life changed forever.
I married my wife of 26 years in 1975 and received a business degree from Princeton University in 1977. I was a CPA for most of my business life but several unexpected deaths in my family in the early 90's forced me into a Mr. Mom situation. I've been pretty successful as a Day Trader in the stock market but expect to get back in the job market soon. I have a 10 year old daughter who is one of the only things that matter to me and with whom I have enjoyed countless hours, days, and weeks in WDW.
I like this message board as an informative tool as well as a great place to get a few laughs with folks from around the US, England, Canada and Mexico. I do find myself getting irritated with those who find it difficult to recognize subtle humor and impossible to laugh at themselves. As I said in a previous post...when you can laugh at your silly self, you leave no room for others to criticize. After all, this is a Mickey Mouse message board. When it gets too serious, I'm outa here!

I'm the "other" Marcia, but have a daughter older than sillyspook, a son 8 yrs old, and will be celebrating my 25th anniversary this year.I'm not quite as old as Tramp (who is?) but run a close second. I'm sometimes the mom of the group, giving encouragement and information, but also turning into "Mistress Marcia" when members get out of line (Tramp, I saw you drooling over the lovely Maria! Cut it out!) I live in Fl, and go to WDW about 4 times a year; not as often as some, but more frequently than most. Most of the teasing done on the board & in the chatroom is in fun, so don't take it personally.

Dear Mistress....
I beg to inform you that a shark circling it's prey doesn't drool. Maria's picture is tantamount to throwing raw meat into a group of sharks engaged in a feeding frenzy. Wow...what a cutie pie! If you want to spank me for getting out of line, thats ok....as long as you wear your frogman's suit while you do it!
Tramp, the tramp

Sharks? Don't flatter yourselves! Piranha is more like it. And it's too hot for the frogsuit; you'll have to settle for the leather corset & stilleto heels.

My name is Elizabeth (everyone calls me Beth). I'm 24 years old and an art teacher. In fact, I just finished my first year of teaching and loved it. I also have a degree in interior design. I have a 2001 cyber green Volkswagen New Beetle, its like my first born.
My first trip to Walt Disney World was in 1987 and I've been back every year since. I've stayed at all the moderate resorts and Dixie Landings Alligator Bayou is my favorite. I worked at the local Disney Store as a casual cast member (temporary, seasonal). I've been told by cast members that I look like Alice (ya know- from wonderland, lol). My favorite ride at WDW is the Haunted Mansion. I'm staying at Port Orleans in August. Herbie53 is my little brother. hmmm, is that enough info Jason- oh yeah and I like long walks on the beach (LOL!!!):D
