We just got the news that it's a small world will close for it's rehab on Saturday, May 1st. Snow White's Scary Adventures will open early from it's rehab.

Over a month earlier than what was scheduled.

Just read

Magic Kingdom leaders announced on April 26 that the "it's a small world" refurbishment project is moving ahead of schedule, and the attraction's last day of operation before closing is May 1.
The new timeline will enable the theme park to reopen "it's a small world" by the spring peak period in 2005.

The "it's a small world" refurbishment will include the installation of an enhanced audio system, improved show sets and an enhanced entrance area.

Oh great...this was one of the very few memories I had from going at 7 so I was looking forward to taking my daughter. I've been singing it over and over..oh well..I guess we'll have to get over it. They couldn't have waited 2 more days. Dang.

That would be kinda hard in my opinion. The attraction is suffering from allot of usage. The Animatronics the audio track the boats the whole ride is in need of it. Basically if you just took random photos you could find flaws.

Date hasnt changed to my knowledge

Snow White's Scary Adventures will be closed for refurbishment Monday, April 19 through Friday, May 28 reopening Saturday, May 29, 2004.

If Snow White is opening over a month earlier than scheduled then it would have to be opening real soon.

Actually, I just found it has been updated in the Operational Updates page on the wdw website:

"Snow White's Scary Adventures will not be operating April 19 - May 7, 2004"

So May 8th, a week from Saturday. That's going to make Ben a very, very happy kid.

Not that I'm a huge fan of this ride, but it just won't seem like a trip to Disney without riding IASW. I thought I was just going to miss the rehab on my trip May 17...oh well :(

Context issue on my end. Sorry, it's been fixed.

I meant iasw was closing earlier by a month. SWSA will re-open on May 8th.

All right! It looks like we will get 5 construction walls at once after all! Muwhaha!!

Too bad I didn't take pix of the loading area of IASW this past weekend though. I wasn't counting on it closing until June! :(

I havent seen this much work going on at once in years! Maybe since Animal Kingdom construction. They sure ran throught the Snow White refurb. Kudos Ride and Show Eng.!
