Thanks in part to feedback from my post of my original draft, I now have a revised parade/entertainment schedule for my propsed 6th Disney theme park. Here is what I now have so far:

June-August (Summer peak season):

Magic Kingdom:
1pm, 3pm: Daytime parade (not yet named) I moved the 1st showing to 1pm, since many, if not most, guests would behaving lunch at noon, when it was originally scheduled:

8:45pm, 10:20pm: Main Street Electrical Parade. Here is a midi-file of Baroque Hoedown, MSEP's ever-catchy theme song!: http://www.pacificsites.com/~drhoades/sounds/msep.mid

9pm, 10:30pm, 11:45pm: Fantasmic! Disneyland ran 3 showings of Fantasmic! circa 1997-99, when MSEP was heading towards the end of its Disneyland run (a modified version currently runs in California Adventure). This would help solve problems with crowd control and shorten waiting times to get into the show!

9:50pm: Fireworks show (not yet named)

Disney Studios:
2pm, 7:30pm: Parade (not yet named, similar to Walt Disney Studios parade at Disneyland Paris, complete with the movie projector float in which Tinker Bell sits in front of the projector's lens!)

9pm: Sorcery in the Sky Fireworks

December 1-Thursday before Christmas:

Magic Kingdom:
3pm Daytime parade
5:45pm: Fantasmic! (a 2nd showing at 9pm runs on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
7pm: Holiday parade (not yet named)
8pm: Holiday fireworks show
8:30pm: Main Street Electrical Parade

Disney Studios:
2pm: Parade
7:15pm: Sorcery in the Sky Fireworks

Friday before Christmas-January 1:
Magic Kingdom:
1pm: Daytime parade
3pm, 7pm: Holiday parade
5:45pm, 9:30pm, 10:45pm: Fantasmic!
8pm: Holiday Fireworks show
8:30pm, 10:15pm: Main Street Electrical Parade

Disney Studios:
2pm, 4:30pm: Parade
7:15pm: Sorcery in the Sky Fireworks

I hope this schedule is better! If anyone has questions, comments, and/or suggestions, please fell free to post! :)

I forgot to add that I love the idea of two day parades. Maybe you can have little parades too. You know how TDL has rain parades separate from the normal parade, or maybe a little cavalcade with a float or two. That would be neat too.

Two cents!!

I'm not too familar with what you're talking about, but are the "rain parades" similar to the pre-parade they had at WDW earlier this year, which was led by Aurora (Sleeping Beauty)?

As for scheduling 2 day parades, it would help break up the crowds and allow more flexibility in terms of time and scheduling for the guests!

Two cents!!

There are two definitions of "rain parade." At WDW, a rain parade refers to when it's about to rain or it's misting. The parade will still go out (depending on how bad it is), but there are some alterations. Some characters won't go out or some floats. The parades usually just flow by without stopping (ie. day parade won't have show stops, where they stop and do the magical moment).

At TDL there is actually a parade made for the rain from rain floats to rain costumes for the performers and characters.

That would be cool! Alright, talk to ya soon.
