Disney Studios: FINAL draft (more or less) of rides & attractions for opening day

Well, I have now completed my Magic Kingdom, so next up is my second park, Disney Studios. As I said earlier, Disney Studios will mainly be a production facility, with a few rides and attractions. The reason I am doing this is because what I wanted with my proposed Disney theme park resort was a production facility of some sort as of opening day (or shortly afterward).

Disney Studios will open with six soundstages (double the number as Disney-MGM in Florida), a backlot (inlcudes Residential Street, which is no longer at Disney-MGM), a working animation studio, as well as the Earfell Tower-- which is an actual working water tower for the studio and park, not an oversized prop like Disney-MGM's tower! Here is a list of the rides and attractions avaliable as of opening day:

1.) Cinemagic Special Effects Stage
2.) Disney Studio 1: which includes:
a.) Sound Studio: a mock SFX studio where guests add sound effects to various Disney cartoons!
b.) TV Zone: similar to the now-defunct Disney-MGM attraction, where guest have the chance to interact with characters from both classic and current sitcoms!
3.) The Great Movie Ride: with primarily different scenes from the WDW ride.
4.) Hyperion Theater: a 2,000 seat movie palace-like theater, which presents a multi-character show similar to the show on the Disney Cruise Line (I have in fact heard a lot of good things about that show!)
5.) Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular: even though Disney-MGM has this, I think this is one of their very best shows, and should be included here!
6.) Jim Henson's Muppet*Vision 3-D:
7.) Magic of Disney Animation: an actual working animation studio broken up into the following divisions:
a.) Cel Animation
b.) Computer Animation
c.) Clay Animation

In addition, there will be an interactive area where guests learn a few tricks of the trade, much like the Disneyland Paris animation studio has!

8.) Star Tours
9.) Studio Tour: Behind the Scenes
10.) That's Entertainment! Hollywood Gallery: inlcudes exhibits and artifacts from Hollywood and the entertainment industry in general (both past and present!)
11.) Tron: The Ride (based on an earlier proposal on the Imagineers forum, and located appropriately in the Animation Courtyard!)
12.) Who Want's to Be a Millionaire: Play It!

With this, Disney Studios will have 12 rides and attractions for opening day; twice the number of attractions as Hollywood Pictures at Disneyland's California Adventure and slightly over half as many as Disney-MGM Studios at WDW currently has.

In addition, Disney Studios will include:

* a Hollywood-based parade similar to the parade in Walt Disney Studios at Disneyland Paris. This will also include the Movie Projector float with Tinker Bell, which is in the WD Studios Paris parade! In addition, this parade will include various Hollywood-themed songs; such as Hooray For Hollywood, Were In the Money, You Ought to Be in Pictures, and That's Entertainment!, just to name a few!

Originally, I was planning this parade more along the lines of Disney-MGM's Disney Cars and Movie Stars; but IMHO, seemed too similar to me.

* Sorcery in the Sky Fireworks: which will be presented nightly

If anyone has questions, comments, and/or suggestions, please feel free to post; since I really could use you feedback! I look forward to hearing from you! :)

I have posted this (or something similar) concerning my Disney Studios park a couple of times earlier, and so far, have gotten no feedback. Please post if anyone has questions, comments, and/or suggestions! :)

Actually, 4 of my 12 rides and attractions are completely original (1, 4, 10, & 11). 4 may have the same name as the theater at Hollywood Pictures in Disneyland's California Adventure, but the show is different. Also, Hyperion's Theater's show is not the exact same show as the one on the Dinsey Cruise Line, just a very similar one.

TV Zone was taken out of Disney-MGM a few years back, so 1/2 of Disney Studio 1 could be considered original in some way. Disney-MGM's animation studio does not have computer or clay animation (whether for actual production or demonstration purposes), and to the best or my knowledge does not have the interactive activities for guests, so Magic of Disney Animation can be considered original for the most part. Same with The Great Movie Ride, where the majority of the movies scenes are different from Disney-MGM's ride. Also, Disney Studios has Residential Street, which is no longer at Disney-MGM.

Therefore, we have 4 completely original rides and attractions, plus 5 more which can be considered orignial for the most part. Keep in mind that Disney Studios is mainly a production facility to start with, with a few rides and attractions upon its opening. After a few years, as profits and the number of guests rise over the years, Disney Studios will turn into a full-fledged theme park on the scale of Disney-MGM, so we'd have limitless opportunities for many original rides and attractions!

And another thing, what is Tron?

Tron is a 1982 Disney film, which was primarily composed of early computer animation. More about Tron can be found at the enclosed URL below:

Hope this helps! :)
