2nd Annual Disney Halloween Wallpaper Contest!!!

BOO!!! Well, everyone, it's October!

We all know what that means; It's the 2nd Annual Disney Halloween Wallpaper Contest!!! Holding this contest at the beginning of October gives everyone the opportunity to use their own, and possibly other folk's wallpapers leading up to the "holiday."

The rules are simple:

- As long as the wallpaper deals with halloween and Disney, then it qualifies for the contest!

- 700 pixels wide x 525 pixels high

- Prize? Dunno yet. Could be nothing, could be $1,000,000.

- The deadline for entries will be next Friday, October 10th, about 10:00pm CST.

Heres Phase 1 of my design... I've only finished Goofy... Admittedly, its not my best work.. But, I havn't done the final editing, nor have I put it all together (Still won't be my best work, but drawing isn't my forte)...

I'm guessing you get an idea of what my entry is going to look like I decided to post this just to get rid of that monstrocity that was here before it (BTW- it looks pretty pixilated because I didn't do a great job of re-sizing it for this "demo" )

Also, I'm thinking I may need to pull Goofy's pants up a bit... they're a bit... er... low...

Very cool. Since this is my first contest I wanted to verify some things. Going by what you said, I guess we have until the deadline to make changes to any we submit, correct? And I looked through past winners and some had two. Can you submit more than one entry, or does your final one cancel the others out?

Anyways, I can't decide what to do...

I like the concept of what I'm trying to do, just I can't find enough uniform clipart (Clipart thats done in the same style) to do it...

So, I may try something like my last entry...

Actually, Toad, you bring up something I meant to address before.

If you want to make changes to your existing entry, or change it alltogether after it has been posted, make sure you REPLACE the entry you have already submitted. If the forum won't allow you to do so then you must delete your first entry from the contest.

Having more than one wallpaper posted in the contest, even if you say "this is not my entry," makes it very difficult to set up voting.

So, let's consider this a new rule. If you have more than one entry posted in the contest forum, NONE will be accepted.

I think it's an easy rule to follow, therefore we shouldn't have any problems.

Great idea. I had trouble keeping up with all the changes in the last contest. I would recommend to everyone that if you see a wallpaper you like, you should download it when you see it. As often as some of these entries get changed, it might not be there when you come back. :lol:

I think I'll have time to whip one up before the 10th... in fact, I KNOW I will have the time... That's the funny thing, you always say you don't have the time but by doing so, you stress it in your mind and conciously or unconciously, you DO make the time for it, even if you originally thought you didn't have the time. I like things. I like time. I have lived in the past, I live in the present, and I shall live in the future. Time is a funny thing, though, eh? It is constantly in motion, you are never in the same time twice. In that regard I sometimes like to think of time as the fourth dimension. Now, we all know that time can be considered a fourth dimenion. In fact, many things can be considered the fourth dimension. Smell, sight, hearing, that can all be fitted into the concept of the fourth dimension, as can numerous other methods and circumstances. However, I like to regard time as a very special fourth SPATIAL dimension. Now don't go all crazy on me folks. I know that technically time is NOT a spatial dimension. Plus, if you consider the analogies presented with the beholding of how a point becomes a line and a line becomes a square and a square becomes a cube, the analogies do not work for time being a fourth spatial dimension. They just don't (I don't think). However, if you think about it, time can be considered a SPECIAL SPATIAL dimension because without Time, we cannot exist. In the same way as a point cannot exist without width and breadth and height, and a line cannot exist without width and height, and a square cannot exist without height, so too a CUBE cannot exist without Time. Without time, nothing would exist! Get it? Am I rambling? Sorry. Sometimes I ramble.

Hey, what's the deal with rambling, folks? I happen to like rambling on pointless, because without a point, you can express yourself more fully, no? If you have a point you are heading to, there is pretty much only one destination you can get to - the point. Sure, you can take different routes to the point, but you still end up at the point. BUT, when you ramble on and on, you not only get to take different routes but also you can end up at places not even you could have expected! This is the way many of the most important scientific discoveries of the world took place! People were pointless, and in being pointless, they discovered an ALTERNATE destination, one that Benefited them!

This is my first Wall paper contest so i'm still learning how to make them.But I think it came out good for a first timer.

not bad... however, the entry needs to be 700X525 to be valid.... you may want to resize it
