Standard 5 car trains running on a standard track. You load the train and continue on the track. Your train make a sharp turn and enters a room. In the room a you are introduce to a character that tells you that they have been doing some expierements on creatures. The character is a projection within a control room. You watch as the story unfolds. The character then tells you to enter the secondary room where you can what as they attempt again. Your train continues on into another room. Once again the story continues. However something goes wrong and one of the creatures gets loose. The creature attacks your guide and suddenly the lights start to flicker. Your guide appears again and sends your vehicle into the next room which is trashed. On a set of computer screens you see your guide. He tells you that he will launch your vehicle out of the lab. He begins a countdown, but his screen starts to flicker and goes blank before he gets to zero. Suddenly in front of your vehicle the creature is shown. Immediatly your vehicle shoots forward toward the creature, but at the last second makes a shart 90 degree turn and the roller coaster part of the ride begins. The ride is a dark ride that uses on board speakers to make it sound like the creature is after you

The ride uses current technology mixed with a little new technolgy. LIMs are the launcher. The ride is able to handle many people at a time as each train can be each of the three rooms while one is on the rollercoaster part and another in the loading area. Total five to six trains at one time.

Good ride/Bad ride?

Yes there would be inversions.
Standard restraints would be used howver they wouuld be slightly less bulky.

Most of the story would happen in the front sides of the vehicle.

LIMS sound good, but a 90 degree turn? Ouch!!! How about a sudden drop underneight? I think this has good potential. I want to see this turn out on RCT2. Also, you can use 8Cars Trainer to allow for you to speed up the chain lift and use that for a launch.

This sounds strangely familiar like an idea I had for a coaster theme, although it was more Hulk-ish in design. The control room was located within the lauch tube and creature hung from the ceiling for a nice 'head-chopper' effect.

It was called 'Dread: The Encounter'

(The alien was an inter-galactical criminal with a dangerous homicidal streak.)

A 90 degree turn would be fine as long as it is banked properly and isn't too sharp. However, if you are using Vekoma(RnRC) track, then that turnn would be rough due to the side friction wheels.

Vekoma went bankrupt. The only two LIM roller coaster people left are Intamin and Premier. Intamin mad California Screamin', but Premier tends to make painful OTSR's, and it seems to be that you want OTSR's. However, Premier has great lap restraints for some of their looping coasters.

Yes, Vekoma did go bankrupt, but not out of business. Vekoma is still making coasters, and they will be in the future as well. And Premier will not use OTSRs anymore, after they've made the lapbars.
