Hey, does anyone have a list of how all original rides at Magic Kingdom were catergorized on the A - E tickets. I would like to see a list of the first year open. I also wonder what the last year was that tickets were used and would like to see a list of those attractions as well.

I just posted this on another thread, but couldn't remember them all. I have a 1973 brochure with all the rides listed. And I have old tickets (except E) and they listed the rides on the tickets -- the tickets don't have dates but are probably from later than 1973. When I get home tonight I'll try to dig them up and post the complete lists unless someone else beats me to it.

Ahhh, those were the days.

This is from a 1973 "Walt Disney World Information Guide." On the front cover is a picture of Cinderella's castle. It says "compliments of GAF" and "Walt Disney Productions 50 Happy Years." I would post it but don't have a scanner.

Page 1: You could buy an 8-Adventure ticket book for $5.75 (3E, 2D, and 1 each of ABC tickets) or a 12-Adventure for $6.75 (4E, 4D, 2C, and 1A and 1B).

Page 3: A coupon 10cents
Omnibus, Horse cars, Horseless carriage, Jitney, Fire Engine, Cinderella's Golden Carousel

B coupon 25cents
Main street cinema, Frontierland shootin gallery, Mike Fink keelboats, Dumbo, Mad tea party

Page 4: C coupon 50cents
Swiss Family Island treehouse, Snow White's adventure, Peter Pan, Mr. Toad, Grand prix raceway

D coupon 75cents
Walt Disney world railroad, Tiki birds, Liberty Square riverboats, Mickey Mouse Review, Skyway, Flight to the moon

Page 5: E coupon 90cents
Jungle Cruise, Country bears, Hall of Presidents, Haunted Mansion, 20,000 Leagues, Small World

Free attractions: Diamond Horseshoe revue, If you had wings, Circle Vision 360

I don't have time now but can list all the shops and restaurants and "additional entertainment" if anyone likes. (Wish I had a scanner.)

Note this was before POTC and SM.

ride coupons

I was there in 1974 and remember the coupons. My cousin and I were 12 years old and were allowed to go off on our own for the day and met the family later. We had a blast, but were very disappointed that we didn't have more E-coupons. We LOVED riding Space Mountain!
