I think its gonna depend on the annual fee and how many points are needed to be rewarded. As of now, yes, I'll probably replace one of my airline cards with the Disney one.

I'll probably get one because I want one, and I'm hoping it has a nifty picture on it.

However, I get cold cash from my Discover, and that's a hard habit to break.

Will have to read the fine print before I make it my main card.

Wow, thanks for the link. I can't believe there's no annual fee. Damn cool!

Cool... top secret link to a credit card site...

However, I'm going to wait to see exactly what the worth of the rewards is. If they have a value greater than 2 cents per dollar spent, and they can be used for Disney vacations, I'm sold! But if the deal isn't great, I'll stick with my mileage cards and my Starwood card (which gets points that can be used at the Swan and Dolphin, at least).

If it's a good enough deal, I may even put business expenses on it. I may be able to afford the GF for my next trip! :)

I imagine there will be some pretty good rewards to come. I would imagine Vacation Packages and Tickets will be some of the rewards. Tickets and Packages were offered with the old Universal Discover Card (and the new Universal Entertainment Mastercard will too).

Remember this is a large part of the replacement for the soon ending Disney Club Card.

Bank One has been very surprised by early interest in the card.

Hmmmmmm.......

Wonder if they will continue to have the current Disney Credit Card along with the new Visa? Can't seem to get an answer from anyone.

Many people that don't qualify for a Visa or MasterCard can get approved for a "private label" card like the Disney Credit Card due to the high finance rates.

If the rewards are better than the ones I have now, I'll get one!
The rewards will need to be special to encourage use of the card and keep from "cheapening" the identity of the whole program.

Hmmm, I would be happy just to get tickets free, I'm sure there will be special rewards too, but is it necessary, not for me.

I asked about the Disney CC too, and the only thing I can say is... Sears now has a Mastercard, but they still offer a Sears Card. Doubt that helps much. :brick:

With most Private Cards I agree with your logic, however, i had a great deal of trouble getting my Disney Card (I think they are stricter... or at least they were back in 96)

I wish it was Mastercard, than I could change mine. I'm not gonna get ANOTHER cc...
And not only that, I don't know if the Disney card extends to International customers, so...

Yes I am planning on getting one of the very first cards issued with the special pin promotion. As soon as I get it, I am going to cancel it. I just want the pin.

Don't cancel it too soon!
The pin won't be sent to you until after you use your card the first time!
