I am thinking of using the Gifts of a Lifetime Pixies to help plan a couple of surprises for my husband and son while we are at WDW next year.

Has anyone had experience using this company? And if so, what did they do and was it worth the money?

Thanks!
Margaret

I used them when we went on our honeymoon, in august, it was fantastic. I sent my wife on a scavenger hunt through the magic kingdom.
started with finding aladdens lamp at the wishing well , on said you have 3 wishes first go ride winnie the pooh and at the end look for your gift next to the biggest eyore in the store (my wife's favorite was eyore). with it had fastpasses for pooh. next we rode winnie the pooh and found the gift in it was pooh candies , pooh honey and the next clue next clue was in santas sleigh at the christmas shop, in santas sleigh was a box with a key in it that said the wish had escaped and was caught and put in the locker on main street, when she got to the locker there was a CD , mickey candles, and 2 wine glasses. then it said the 3rd wish was a romantic night back at the hotel, a bottle a wine and some goodies were sent to the hotel, it was fabulous. jane was excelent, and she has a lot of good ideas. everyones experience is unique and diffrent. I say go for it you will not regret it.

they set everything up

Well Worth The $$$ !!!!!

I used Jane and her services for our Honeymoon last November, both before and during our trip and it was great!

Before we left for WDW, I did a “10 days ‘til Disney” celebration, since we would be spending 10 nights in WDW. Each night my DW had a different present to open and a Disney movie to watch. Some of the presents were simple stuff like travel accessories, Disney socks, and books to read on the airplane. But with Jane’s help I was also able to present her with a WDW scrapbook, WDW photo album, WDW disposable camera, and WDW name tags. Jane also got for me a MK pressed penny, which I gave my DW on the first night with a note that said, “Present this coin at the Magic Kingdom Wishing Well for one free wish”. Little did she know what one penny would bring her!

Mid-way through our honeymoon was MK day, and unknown to my DW, I had scheduled an event with Jane to begin at 1:00 at the Wishing Well. To ensure that we went there on the right day at the right time, not only did I schedule a Steam Trains tour, but made a PS for Cindy’s at noon. We finished lunch earlier than I had planned, so I stalled as long as I could by spending nearly ten minutes in the restroom! After leaving Cindy’s, we walked over to the Wishing Well where a “lady” and her “kids” were camped out. DW didn’t want to throw her pressed penny into the well, so we each threw in a penny and made a wish. We then started to leave, but first I asked out loud where we were going next. Just then the “lady” who was with her kids approached my DW and asked her if she was my DW. She said yes, and the “lady” then told her that someone who loves her very much had arranged for her to go on a small “quest”. Then the fun started.

The “lady”, who was one of Jane’s assistants, then told my DW to close her eyes and count to 100. While she did so, I was told to go to one of the gift shops next to the castle, where I met Jane. You see, I had asked Jane to find a Mickey Mouse necklace for me to give to my DW. Jane found several, and e-mailed not only prices but pictures of each one. I made my selection, Jane made the purchase, and was now showing me the necklace before I was to give it to my DW. Very nice!

Meanwhile, back at the well, my DW opened her eyes only to find herself alone with a small card directing her to go ride the carousel. She did so (I saw her walk by the gift shop while I was talking to Jane!), and after she got off she was handed another card which directed her to ride Small World. While she was waiting in line, I was able to slip in behind her and join her. Her first question was, “What’s going on?”, to which I replied, “I don’t know – it is the Magic Kingdom after all!”. After Small World, I handed her a card directing us to Snow White, and after Snow White we headed back to the Wishing Well.

There, Jane performed a Disney Wed ceremony where we were sprinkled with Pixie dust while Jane read some Disney-ised wedding vows. When she was done, she motioned to me and I presented DW with the necklace, which “magically” appeared from my pocket.

All in all it was a wonderful experience, and both my DW and myself had a wonderful time. Jane and her pixies are first-class, all the way. And they do so many other things! If you want to surprise your significant other with something unique while at WDW, this is the only way to go.

I hope this helps – if you do use her services, you will not be disappointed!!!

Jane is the greatest!!! She was able to get me an engraved/personalized glass slipper for my wife for our wedding anniversary in September. She wrapped it in special WDW giftwrap and delivered it to the AKL where we were staying. The whole process was extremely easy and Jane was a pleasure to do business with.

Man I am glad I found this whole site!

My sis and I are going to try to give our family a pixie scavenger hunt during our Oct. 30 to Nov. 9 vacation. I will let you know and keep updating how Jane reacts. So far she is GREAT, emailed me back within 15 MINUTES of my first email to her. She is going to get back to me by Saturday, which is awesome!

WHOOP 13 days and counting!!

Thanks everyone! Sounds like everyone who used Jane's services were very pleased.

I was thinking of doing a scavenger hunt for my husband and son. It will be our 10 yr wedding anniversary and my son's 6th birthday. I was thinking of a pirate themed hunt. Maybe have someone give us a treasure map with some clues on it. I wanted to end up at the Poly for our Luau reservations. Then after the show, having the last clue lead us to the beach where they can "dig" up a treasure chest with their gifts in it. I was thinking of also renting a boat afterwards to watch the fireworks over the MK.

A special thanks to Sherm00 and It-hambone for sharing their stories......your wives are very lucky!!!

Thanks again

I think Sherm00 and I should get a referal fee from Jane - looks like this post may have given her a few ne clients

But seriously, you will find out that Jane is very helpful, and very trustworthy - just ask her about the ring she hid for an engagement! :animwink:

Good luck, and keep us posted!

PS - Yes, our wives are very lucky! :D

Hi there,

I wanted to update like I said I would about the Pixies.

Jane was AWESOME to talk with, very polite, professional. She came up with two ideas in no time at all for our family, and we are going to do one called the Amazaing Family Race. Her payment is easy, she was willing to work with me even though she is going on vacation this week!

Outstanding so far. Would highly recommend.
