Jim Fall Helming Lizzie McGuire Movie

Jim Fall (Trick) has signed up to direct the $15 million live-action teen comedy The Lizzie McGuire Movie, a feature version of the Disney Channel show at Walt Disney Pictures.
Variety says that Hilary Duff will reprise her starring role from the show in the feature, which starts shooting Oct. 14.
The film, penned by Susan Jensen, follows Lizzie as she graduates from middle school and takes a trip to Rome. It will feature the interstitial animation sequences depicting her alter ego, just like in the TV show.
"Lizzie McGuire" is expected to be released in spring 2003.
