Hey, I just made my 120 day priority seatings over the weekend and got a hot tip for when I call back for my 60 day seats. The CM who helped me said that there is a Princess Character Meal or maybe Meals(?) going into EPCOT. He said they are to start by the 28th of this month. Just wanted to share that with everyone. I have no interest in a Princess meal myself, but some of you might. I searched but didn't find anything on this, maybe I actually got some breaking news for a change, cool. If anyone knows or finds out more (what Princess or where), please post, thanks.

I would love to hear any info. if anyone has it. My friend and her family are going in August and she couldn't make PS arrangements for Cinderella's Royal table (it was all booked up). She's bummed bc her 3 yo daughter would have loved it. I also heard that the Royal Table was charging you cc up front for the whole meal because people were selling their reservations. Anyone else hear this? Thanks.

I've been told 2 versions of the story..

from CRO-The meal starts the 28th, they will start taking PS's the 28th. It will be at Restaurant Akerhus, for breakfast

from Epcot Management-the meal starts the 27th, to walk-ins only, w/PS's starting the 28th. It will be at Restaurant Akerhus for breakfast.

Restaurant Akerhus - Yikes, talk about a walk and a half to get there in the morning. Anyone going first thing had better leave extra early. Even from the Boardwalk side entrance it is still a good distance, they should shuttle early guests from the entrance to the restaurnat. Guess you haven't heard the characters yet or you would have posted them. No Norweigen(sp?) princesses that I know of...

New Princess Storybook Character Breakfast

The trial period for a new Character Breakfast was announced today: Princess Storybook Breakfast. Priority seatings can be made starting tomorrow (July 16) and the breakfast is scheduled to start on July 28, 2002. The family style character breakfast will be served at Restaurant Akershus in the Norway Pavilion at Epcot (serving American food, not Norwegian) and will feature Disney Princesses and Friends. Hours: 8:30am to 10:30am. Prices: $15.99 for adults and $8.99 for children (ages 3-11). This test period will run from July 28, 2002 to October 26, 2002. Disney says this breakfast will be used as an alternative for those that can't obtain a PS at Cindy's.

I made a PS today for the breakfast for September. The reservationist advised us to allow 30 minutes to walk to the Norway pavilion if we enter from the Future World portion of Epcot. Quite a trip to get to it. Our PS is for 8:30a.m. so Epcot will not have opened yet. The walk might be neat with no one yet in the park. We had planned on making the dreaded phone calls to get into Cindy's for breakfast-this is a nice alternative. Hope it will be good. :)

Epcot is soooo pretty without people! Enjoy the walk! It´s a nice one! It doesn´t take 30 mins, but you will stop and take pics for sure! :animwink:

Central Reservations began making Priority Seating
arrangements today for a new character breakfast that will
feature Disney Princesses and Friends in Epcot's Restaurant
Akershus in the Norway Pavilion. The family style breakfast,
which is in a "test phase" from July 28 until October 26,
2002, will be served from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. daily. The
exact menu hasn't been released yet, but will include
pastries, fresh fruit, juice, milk, coffee, scrambled eggs,
bacon, potato casserole and french toast sticks. Prices:
$15.99 for adults; $8.99 for children (ages 3-11).

Because this breakfast is served at an Epcot restaurant,
guests may make Priority Seating 120 days in advance. Call
407-W-DISNEY for more information.
