Storybook Circus costumes arrive at WDW.

The costumes have arrived at wardrobe for SC. I have a picture, but it's not mine and I don't want to post a backstage photo without their permission. Anyway they are basically the same colors as the new Dumbo. I think they look pretty cool actually. Looks like February is really going to happen.

I hope they finish SC before actually opening it, and not do a half done job like they have been doing with some attractions.

Thanks for the tidbit, were these outsourced? I thought costumes were made on site.

I have no idea if they were outsourced I was just sent the picture with very little detail. I really want to post it to show you guys, but like I said it isn't my place to post someone elses picture without permission.

Unfortunately, all indications are that not all of SC will open at the same time.

For sure! The tents and merch. won't really be ready, but the main pathway, Dumbo, Train Station and maybe Goofys will be open?

I'm just wondering how everything else will open up around the SW construction later in the year?

It depends on the costume. Some are made on site, others are custom orders from outside vendors.

This is exactly what I thought. As they hang on a rack, I like them.

Hopefully I like them as much when they are worn by a CM in the parks.

Thanks, I never knew that, I always assumed all costumes were in house.

Thanks for sharing! And thank you to whoever took the pic and sent it to you! I'll agree with Zweltar that I like them on the rack but will be interested to see how they look on the CMs.

Yes. The Storybook Circus is supposedly themed as an old-fashioned circus, with a backstory supposedly set in the 1930's and 40's.

Therefore, the SBC costumes are designed to look old-fashioned. After all: Disney is in the details.

Ah yes. I've had the sketches for about 6 months now and just haven't posted them.

The costumes for the rest of the new FL are pretty cool as well. I'll post those in time. :animwink:
