Monorail on Halloween Party Nights

Hi All -

I haven't seen this posted yet, so I figured I'd ask. (If it has been posted and I didn't see it, I'm sorry in advance) With all of the new closing times of the Monorail (Closing 1 hour after regular park closing), does anyone know what the policy will be on Halloween Party Nights?

I am not attending the party, but it is a tradition for my family to ride the monorail around the MK resort loop on our first night there. Is Disney considering 7:00 Regular park closing (so monorails will close at 8:00) or is Regular Park closing considered midnight when the party ends (so monorails will close at 1:00AM)? No one knows yet. The last I heard somewhere on these forums is that management was weighing all their options.

Chances are we won't know for sure until the night of the first party and it gets reported on here. Even then, they can always change their plan after seeing how their first choice works out.

I've heard that they will run until at least 10:30 pm on nights when Magic Kingdom closes early, because of the Epcot line running until 10 pm. This is just hear say right now, nothing has been confirmed yet.

There have been reports on other sites that the resort monorail will continue to run until 1 hr after the party time but the express will stop 1 hr after regular park closing. On non-party nights both lines will close 1 hr after park closing.
