-The columns on the outside of Spaceship Earth which features it's logo signage has a very nice green "swoop" design on each side now.

-It is quite brighter in some of the scenes like the Renaissance.

-Steam is again rising from the newspaper machine.

-There were also several individuals standing on a platform directly in front of you when the time travel vehicle turns towards the planet Earth projection wearing what did not appear to be normal CM costumes.

-All traces of AT&T's logo are gone.

I've been amazed lately how rides like the Carousel of Progress and Spaceship Earth have been receiving touch ups every couple of weeks instead of having to shut the ride down completely. This is something that we need to see more of on a parkwide basis whenever possible.

Oh and no pictures unfortunatly. I'll see what I can do about that though.

Any new stuff when you get off the ride? The last time we rode it (2004) there was nothing there (not even a gift shop!). Hope they add something cool now that there is a new sponsor.

I may have a pic of the entrance way swoops. I took two pictures of the entrance, but it was night time so I'm not sure how well they'll come out or if you can see the swoops. I'll post them once I offload them from the camera (if you can see anything, that is). I did notice several directional signs out in the park mentioning Siemens, but nothing on the ride itself.

Did the stars inside the top scene (looking out through space onto the earth) always kind of rotate around the inner dome? Or were they recently stationary? This week, they were rotating slowly and there was also a neat "otherworldly ether" (for want of a better term) effect on one of the dome walls. I cannot remember if this is new or not.

www.Imageshack.us rocks your world.

Are the faux legacy monoliths still on the other legs?

I like the swoosh - sorta makes the ride feel more exciting. Kinda test-tracky.

I noticed one of your pics is of the "cube tingy" directional signs in the breezeway (or atleast appears to be). Does this mean all of the spots on the sign are full perhaps..?

(Seeing all the positions on those signs used, with the arrows pointing the right way is a personal dream of mine.)

I'm sure their logo will be fairly prominent outside, but I doubt it'll be grandiose. Think of how the HP logo is on Mission Space -- fairly tiny on the "marquee" or whatever you want to call that planet sculpture thingy. I imagine they'll go more for placement inside the ride (as did HP).

I could just image those big long side walls of the V queue with 5ft tall SIEMENS across them.

I'd laugh, and like it for it's blatancy ;)

I don`t remember if the stars ever did move in 180top - although it was billed as the worlds largest planetarium and the effect is achived the same way so....

Next time you see WDI up in 180top ask them for the satellite back!

I noticed the moving stars in December --- I asked my brother, "DID THEY DO THAT BEFORE??" :D So cool, this is all so exciting.
