After reading this fantastic book, I wondered if it would be a good idea to have a sort of scavenger hunt event at the Magic Kingdom. A hunt that uses elements from the book, such as special projects of hosts in certain places that give out clues, using chicken exits and emergency exits as "secret passage ways". Having characters out of place and running muck throughout the park.At the end, all the groups gather at the Partners statue for a battle royale with Maleficent.

This book has been talked about extensively. Do a search before making a new thread. And I'm sure I'm not the only one with these sentiments...although the other talk was about how appropriate it was for young adults...then it started going off track.

I'm sorry, but I try to search for threads before I post. I even try to do that to my old threads that no one has seen in a long long time. It's just that this horse has been beaten so many times, it's dead 5 times over.

Besides, keeping within an old thread makes bandwidth smaller :D

Wow, this must not be a favorite topic for you. Even if it has been discussed a lot, there is no need for this type of post, in my opinion. You don't have to respond to posts if you feel they've been repeated too many times, and the fewer responses, then the thread will go away. There is no need for "yelling."

Well, I've never heard about it before. I think a scanver hunt would ROCK. (I don't know anything about this book though).

I think that there are scanvenger hunts that Disney hosts for annual passholders. Also there are some "Find Walt" ones where you find ties historically (ie Walt's Main Street window is the obvious example). I have a copy of it----if anyone would like it, email me brooke7@hotmail.com. Put "DISNEY" in the subject so I don't think you're junk mail!!! :)

I agree. Seriously, if he doesn't want to read the thread then don't read it. There's a lot of people on these forums when it comes to...double posting???!! OMG NO!!!!! lol:lol:

This thread isn't covering the same ground as the other one. Saying any discussion of the book should all be in one thread is like saying any discussion of WDW should be in one thread.

I know. I was looking for books for our Feb trip when I found it. I was so upset that it didn't come out til after we would be going.

Thank you all, for you opinions on this idea. For those who haven't read it yet, you're in for a real treat. You'll see what I mean once your finish with the book, that you'll want to see what goes on at the Magic Kingdom at night, when you're all alone with nothing to guide you, but the glow of the moon and your friends.

Awesome. The only thread I have ever started is infamous. :lol:

So as not to revive that thread...does anyone know if/when the apparent sequel is to be published?
