I can't wait! I'm going to try and abstain from ride videos when Everest opens, just so the Yeti will surprise me and I'll probably end up yelling "HOLY CRAP!"

Yes, their is a nice backwards drop, as well as a drop out of the back side of the mountain into the double helix.

A double helix gave The Beast at Kings island it's fame. Here are more examples of a rather large double helix taken from the Son Of Beast coaster at Kings Island as well.

Ooops -- Forgot to mention that Earth Day was the target grand opening date -- again this was according to cast members at the attraction. Take it for what its worth.
