The site Dreamfinder Forever has been blessed with a new audience and many more people willing to join in in our cause. For those of you who don't know, the Dreamfinder Forever campaign is a fan-based campaign working on returning the original mascot and owner of the Imagination Pavilion, the Dreamfinder to his rightful place. The site was down for about 3 and a half months due to money issues with the server. But since its reopening, almost 3 months ago, it has been doing amazing. In fact, Dreamfinder Forever has gained 3 official links (partners) and a sister site (Bring Blue Men Back).Plus, with its gained publicity from Screamscape, in a matter of two days, the visitor count jumped a chasm from 825 viewers to 1360!:sohappy: And it just keeps getting better. Jim Hill Media will be most likely to become our next linked partner and that is even better. We at Dreamfinder Forever are working hard to better the site and the campaign so that it is effective and serves the purpose that we are trying to achieve.

Sorry to say this, but the blue dot constantly bombarding the mouse pointer, very quickly got on my nerves and I had to leave the site.

I will be changing that because I heard many comments about it. Sorry for the inconvienience.

Brent, tell me when you move, because then I can officially welcome you to Flordia (an official welcome from a Floridian goes a long way:D)

Also, just wanted to let you all know that Dreamfinder Forever has had almost 1500 visitors since its grand re-opening, making a total of almost 2500 visitors since its Grand Opening as a new site.

Plus it just recieved a photo album and a removal of the mouse attack thing. These were done after they were suggested by site users. Enjoy!

Just a few more items...

The bold pink text is very rough on the eyes. The nav bar on the right should be aligned better. The page needs to be broken into segments with inline links to each section.

I understand you have a goal and I applaud that, but I hope that you are not disappointed if this doesn't work at all.

I won't be, but I will continue to try until an ultimatum is met. On the site, freewebs limits me to a certain format, and unfortunately, that is not able to be changed. On the fonts, what color should I make it then so that it is comfortable to read but not ugly either?

Black or a very dark grey is best on the white background. Limit the utilization of bold to headings or important parts so that it stands out. Italics should be reserved for quotes, titles, or to set an important section apart from the rest.

Maybe I missed something....but other than the title...exactly what is the site supposed to be inspiring me to do. Do you expect me to go the the beginning and get the entire history? Most people aren't going to do that. If you want to inspire people to take action you need to say what your point and purpose is with every post.

I left after reading the first two posts...I guess the last two posts.

The site's purpose is to let Disney know that we want the Dreamfinder back as more than just a name on a door. To do this we ask that supporters of the cause mail in letters, email Disney and Kodak and call Disney to show our support and our concern. They listen when spoken to by a large amount of people; as evidence from the past shows, this method has worked before (Figment Campaign at Friends of Figment). So there you go. Sorry about that but I normally remember to do this but I forgot.:hammer:

In that little "Bring Blue Man Back" article on the website, it says to finish up in New York. They already have a permanent show in New York. They play at the Astor Place Theatre which is located at 434 Lafayette Street in New York City (Greenwich Village section of Manhattan). My fiancee, Nora, and I saw them in July. The theatre seats about 200 or so. It's a "sub-theatre" as it's underground (under street level). If you're claustrophobic then go to Vegas and see Blue Man Group at their new location in the Venetian Resort. Astor Place Theatre is pretty small.

I hate to have to burst your bubble but that isn't them. That is a set of 6 actors/musicians working in New York on that PLAY/SHOW. They are not the real band. I am talking about the REAL BAND. Plus, I saw there show at the Astor Plaza. That show is what first got me interested in the Blue Man group.

You know what? You're right! After I posted that, I forgot about the band (the one that tours). I have, on DVD, the "Blue Man Group: The Complex Rock Tour Live" - if you want to see an energetic concert.... yeah.. this one is good!

And you know something else? If you've seen BMG... you'll definitely know how messy the finale gets. ;)

Dude, this is getting weird, not only did I see the show in the same place as you, but I also have that DVD. Do you have their cds. Did you go there on the same night as I?
