Norway Viking Ship

Since they removed the Viking ship in the fall of 2008 from the Norway pavillion I have heard of nothing that would be put into the now empty area. Does anybody know if they will put another or refubed old ship back into the area? I really liked the viking ship and hope to see it back one day.

There is nothing there and I would say that nothing will be coming either.

That area is full of plants. It does not look as though they will be doing anything with it in the future.

Nope, as sad as it is, the ship will not be back I'm not sure on the real reason for it's removal, but a CM (more than one) said it was for safety precautions :shrug:

Yeah, doesn't look good for the future, a bunch of people have said that in the past as well. A lot of people have good memories of it though, a new one would be pretty cool.

They have two things that uses the Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure
1) Taking a picture by the front of the boat with the phone
2) A flag gets raised further back closer by the restrooms.

No Viking Ship coming back -- it was falling apart, and they did away with most of it and kept the few salvageable pieces. Nothing else is going into that area. Even though it looks like they have lots of plants and things there, it is just cover for the buildings and roadway directly behind it "offstage". Viking ship, gone.
