Reservation # through Disney?

Ok so I found decent Plane tickets at less then 2 weeks notice for 5/26/05 - 5/31/05 at about $400 each. Best I can find so far at this late notice ;( Anyways, now my trouble is hotels!! I don't want to stay off the property like I did last time because we don't plan on renting a car and last time the hotel we stayed at provided transportation however it left the park hours before they closed or arrived hours after they open. I keep using the Disney website and it appears many are sold out for those dates. Is there an actual 800# I can call to disney to speak with a rep over the phone? Only thing I found was a way I can email them to contact me. I really want to speak with someone and make sure the hotel I stay at will have transportation at all times so I can stay at the parks till they close and get there when they open.

Or does anyone else know if this is the case? I think most likely I want to stay at the Moderate resorts like Port Orleans or something. I don't feel like spending $300+ a night for this vacation for a hotel. This is just a quick get away for our daughter.

Thanks for the help!

Usually the Disney Travel Co. can help you. You may have to change hotels once, but if you're in Disney, who cares? It is easier to actually talk to a live person. They are all helpful, very knowledgeable and very nice. They can see what is available at all hotels and help you get your room(s). I used my cell phone (free long distance) and called the 407-WDISNEY. I was only on hold for a couple of minutes and it didn't cost me a dime!

What do you mean I may have to change hotels once?

I called that #, and found them to be very helpful. They are sold out of pretty much EVERYTHING during 3/26/05 - 3/31/05 at least at the time I called yesterday. They said though I can call back anytime and if something opens up I rather be at either cheaper or more, they can move my reservation there. The lowest price they had for the 5 nights was at Disney's Contemporary Resort. Everything below was sold out. I really didn't want to stay at anything too fancy this trip since. It is only the standard Wing room though so not in the big building which is a bummer specially at the price I had to pay for it. I still can't believe that room is $300ish a night. I rather have stayed at the Animal Kingdom or Wilderness lodge however there were no openings.

This is going to be a busy weekend, anyone else going during those times? Memorial day weekend?
