Hi-ho, Kermit the frog here, since the Wonders of Life pavilion is closed in Epcot, how about we replace it with something else. I was thinking about a pavilion based on the arts called "Marvels of Art."

What do you think?

The "Art Pavillion" is very interesting and original, but dont they have somthing along those lines with the Magic of Animation in the studios?

Or would this deal with more classical arts? And how exactly would it work in Epcot? I think you should give ALOT more details...

I can see a weather pavillion before i see an art pavillion, but I personally woud rather that go inbetween the Seas and the Land. I think a Health Pavillion (especially with the current health craze) is a HUGE opportunity...

Hi-ho, Kermit the frog here, Marvels of the Arts will focus on art, music, decorative art (clothing, furniture), and dance. This pavilion would be better in WoL's spot because that pavilion's side of the park is based on man-made wonders (energy, transportation) while tho other side focuses on nature's wonders (seas, imagination).

In the early stages of Epcot's history, there were plans to put an arts pavilion where Mission: SPACE stands today. So, you see, my idea is not original, but to bring the Imagineers' idea to reality.

The Seas do not fit into Future World as much as Test Track, but heck, the Imagineers built it anyway. This applies for my art pavilion idea.

The pavilion will include a rethemed Body Wars called "The Wonderful Journey of Color," films about the histories of music and dance, a revied Fashions & Fabrics Throughout the Ages (Disneyland: 1965-66), and WDW's second AAA 5-star restaurant; a classic art-themed Animator's Palette. The Art of Disney store near SSE will be moved here, as well.

So, what do you think?

Sounds like an extension of Imagination which is a natural topic, and on the other side of FW, FW West. FW East deals with linear thinking and engineering.

Hi-ho, Kermit the frog here, Imagination is nature (FW West), and art is what is made by nature (FW East). Do you understand now, EPCOT Explorer?

I like the idea of the Weather Pavillion- including Aquatopia, what it feels like to be in a tornado, and Storm Rider.

Hi-ho, Kermit the frog here, (scary) is anyone going to post on pavilion ideas THEMSELVES, not on comments about my intro or anything else like that?

I think a weather pavilion is a great idea. I had a rough idea for a dark ride called The Extreme Seasons; guests sit in 8 seater weatherpods which are like moving simulators, then travel through different extreme natural events throughout the year. So starting with January and ending in December you could experience blizzards, monsoons, tornadoes, hurricanes, wild fires, heatwaves, hailstorms, lightning storms, floods and earthquakes. Powerful wind machines, water spray and the heaters like in Test Track can be used to simulate some of these events as well as the vehicle actually rocking and shaking like a simulator to immerse you even more. It's only a rough idea at the moment though.

Then Stormrider can be included, although instead the story is a hurricane is heading straight for Florida and the EPCOT Center For Meteorological Research is sending you into the eye of the storm to diffuse it.

PS: Kermit we all know who you are now so you really don't have to introduce yourself all the time

I think a Science Pavilion would be cool. I think that would work well with the architecture and the location (ie Future World west vs east) of the building. It could include a ride where you shrink down to molecular size like Disneyland's old Adventures thru Inner Space, or a dark ride about the history of science, maybe a 3D movie, etc...

Hi-ho, Kermit the frog here, we technically already have a Science Pavilion, which is Innoventions.

Hi-ho, Kermit the frog here, Crayola could sponsor this pavilion. There could be a gift shop selling Crayola art supplies and Epcot souvenirs, including the new book, A Day in Epcot with Mickey*.

*A Day in Epcot with Mickey is a children's/souvenir book about a trip Mickey Mouse took to Epcot.
