The Plaza Swan Boats 1973-1983

I was actually looking for something else but came across these! How pretty these must have looked floating through the waterways of the Magic Kingdom! I didnt even know they ever existed!!

EDITED TO ADD: I would like to apologise before someone flames me, I just noticed a "Abandoned WDW Attractions" thread on the same page that I could have put this in, sorry about that!!

There was also for a brief time a boat ride in Animal Kingdom.

Problem was, and probably the same for the Swan Boats, that it had long loading times, went only to places that guests can see just by walking by, and was boring.

They also had a tendency to break down quite a bit, from what also I have read, working on them was not too fun. Too bad...

Its sad, they were very pretty, they "fit" in the Magic Kingdom to me.

There was also for a brief time a boat ride in Animal Kingdom.

That was soooo short lived, I was there a few months after opening so I have a T-shirt w/the attraction on it along with the dragon, I have that put away for safe keeping. :lol:
