SW3K Next Weekend

Here we are again.... Next weekend, on Saturday, January 9th, my son will be riding Snow White's Scary Adventures for the 3,000th time. For anyone interested in the back story, here are previous threads on:

I gather that Disney will be doing something special for him again this time, courtesy of Cast Member David Storm. We're down for that day! Plans are to be at Epcot but you never know. I'll keep an eye on this thread. Let us know if there's any updates! I'd looooove to be there to cheer Ben on for #3K!

We are a definite go tomorrow for Ben's 3,000th ride on Snow White's Scary Adventures. Ben and I will be arriving in the park earlier in the day, the rest of the family will meet up with us for the 3:00 parade, and then after the parade there will be something private at City Hall for Ben before we all walk over to the ride. Look for us at SWSA at around 4pm tomorrow.

How exactly are these rides being counted? Do you keep a logbook, or just estimate? I cant imagine being able to remember what number I was on after 20 of something.

We log it after each visit. I keep the running tally up on my blog, and I also tweet the number after each visit. I was using the hashtag #sw3k but now I have moved to #sw4k.

I've been wondering too. Hopefully Lokheed will come along an update us. I can't even begin to imagine how you could prepare a child for this when it is something so important to them.
