I had an idea for a Godzilla ride already, but here is a new plan for it.
It would be located in Disney MGM Studios, though it could also go to Tommorowland for parks without a studios park considering the particular Godzilla movie it's based on takes place in a near future complete with futuristic battleships and mutant supersoldiers.
The guests are coming into the ride are new trainees for the crews of the Earth Defense Force's battleships for fighting monsters. There would be two preshows like Alien Encounter, one being in the queue featuring the prologue from the movie itself explaining the EDF's foundation along with "M Organization" which is staffed by a fighting force of superhuman mutants. In the second preshow, Captain Douglas Gordon of the Gotengo, the EDF's flagship, gives you the basics of controlling the ship and attacking kaiju with the ship's masers and missles. Soon an alarm goes off as numerous kaiju appear in Tokyo. The commander of the Planet X aliens comes on and tells us that with their monsters, we cannot win and challenges us to fight them off. Godzilla then rises from Tokyo Bay ready to fight and roars defiantly. You then enter one of three ships: The Kairyu of China, The Eclaire of Paris, and The Rumbling of the US. The ride cabin simulators are based off the actual battleship bridge sets as seen in the movie and you go off and fight the monsters while the Gotengo goes after the Planet X Alien Mothership. There would be a main screen where most of the action is, a smaller screen where we get messages from the other ships and screens near the side seats for those in charge of firing at the monsters. Cast members would play the role of the ship's captains. The Kairyu goes after Anguirus, Ebirah and Kumonga. The Eclair goes after Kamacuras, King Seesar and Manda and the Rumbling goes after Rodan, Hedorah and the American Godzilla. Each of the ships also help out Mothra fight Gigan. Soon all the ships converge on Godzilla and Monster X, who is transforming into Kaiser Ghidorah. Captain Gordon and his crew have successfully destroyed the Mothership and now the Captain urges us to focus all fire on Ghidorah. Godzilla is slowly being drained of energy and then the Gotengo gives Godzilla enough energy to finish Ghidorah, which he does by decapitating the three headed beast and throwing him into space and obliterating him with a super powerful beam. Godzilla roars in victory and comes toward us and firing a regular beam knocking us to the ground. Just before he can finish us off, Minya comes in and stops Godzilla from hurting us and the two go out to sea. As Godzilla goes off into the sunset he lets out a mighty roar and then the Godzilla theme begins to play as we exit into the post show featuring an exhibit of props and costume replicas of the monster suits throughout the years and there would be a gift shop with a large screen TV playing Godzilla movies throughout the day.
