I love photos with people in them. Great one on the teacups, Mike.

Dave,

Thanks very much, it is my favorite shot from our recent trip. I really dig your Space Mountain shot as well. Super clear, very impressive shot.

I love photos with a rear curtain look, giving that little bit of motion.

The Space Mountain shot is still a work in progress.... a little too much ambient light and not enough subject.

Sorry for not understanding but what does rear curtain mean?

Thanks,
Mike

These are some of the best photo's we've had on here yet - in my opinion - I love Cruiser88's Splash Mountain one - and Mr. Toad' just steals your heart - all of them are great guys! :)

Rear curtain is the technique of having a frozen foreground subject with a background in motion. Very good picture, Mike.

WAY too many good shots to choose from! Parents who have cute kids that take cute pictures and enter photo contests should have to be in their own category. :) j/k!

Dave, I know that you said you aren't participating anymore, but if possible, I, and I'm sure everyone else, would still like to see your Space Mountain shot.

Dave did enter it. It is in group 2 of the voting which you can find here: http://forums.wdwmagic.com/showthread.php?t=52854

When you use a flash, typically the flash goes off as soon as the shutter opens, thats the normal or 'front curtain' saynch flash. The opposite of this is rear curtain, then the flash fires right before the shutter closes. Typically done on longer exposures, creates some motion blur....
