A Soggy Saga .....

Just got back from a little weekend getaway to WDW to see the Christmas lights. We flew in Thursday night, rented a car, and after a quick Chick -Fil-A stop, we checked into Pop Century. We had originally planned to go to Sea World on Saturday, then come back to see some of the hotels at night, but since they forecast rain for the day on Friday, we decided to spend the entire day resort-hopping. Here's a few of our favorites:

Pointsettias lining the greenery at the Poly:

At the Yacht Club we found a very elaborate train display. The details to it were really cute.

At the Dolphin they have a huge Christmas tree made up of white Pointsettias and tiny white lights. It is really breathtaking. A train set circles the base.

We took a dinner break then headed for Fort Wilderness. Surprisingly they let us drive down into the campground, since it was raining. We definitely did not expect to see the elaborately decorated campsites that were there: here are just a few:

It has been said that no disney trip is complete without towel animals, and they too were decorated for the holidays. We were greeted by one when we arrived, and later saw windows full of them!

Nice TR..thanks for sharing your holiday photos!

I've styayed at the Dolphin around Christmas time and the tree is definitely amazing! I love that resort to begin with and that gigantic tree adds a lot of personality.
