Stevie Wonder Performs At The Castle 11/8/09

Stevie Wonder did a surprise concert on the stage set up in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle on Sunday afternoon, for the parkwide taping of the Disney Parks Christmas Special.

Here's a very amateur YouTube video of Stevie and his band doing "That's What Christmas Means To Me". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjdHAYcTEhQ

The teenyboppers can have Selena, who also performed on this stage on Sunday, but Stevie Wonder doing a few of his biggest hits is the coolest!

Stevie Wonder what a treat!

Also another great treat Anika Roni Rose(voice of Princess Tiana) was in NOS up on a balcony singing and later on the Mark Twain with the Showboat Jubliee cast.

You can see a picture of Anika up on a balcony here-

And later on the Mark Twain with the Jubilee cast and some helpful hands-

Disney Parks Blog has an update

It’s not your average day at Disneyland Park when Stevie Wonder performs performs “That’s What Christmas Means to Me “in front of Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle. Here’s a photo of Minnie Mouse, Stevie and his daughter Aisha Morris during a break from taping.

Stevie Wonder and Anika Noni Rose were both performing at Disneyland park today for the Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade.

Anika was seen performing a musical production number inspired by “Tiana’s Showboat Jubilee” for the annual holiday special that appears on ABC. While singing and dancing in New Orleans Square, Anika encountered “Dancing with the Stars” celebs, Cheryl Burke and Tony Dovolani.
Be sure to tune in to ABC on Christmas morning to see these fun performances.
For it being the transition week from Halloween to Christmas DLR sure did pull out a few great offerings, the brand new Tiana's Showboat Jubilee, the weekend return of Remember...Dreams Come True, the parade filming and appearances of some big Disney names Bob Iger, Tony Baxter, John Lasseter, and the Disney Studios Animation staff.

One of my faves... This'll be a good parade this year!

Yes, there’s more!

If you missed the blog posts over the weekend, we shared photos of Selena Gomez, Stevie Wonder, Anika Noni Rose, Cheryl Burke and Tony Dovolani performing and filming at Disneyland park for the annual Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade broadcast.

Here’s today’s photo of Ryan Seacrest posing with Donald Duck while taking a break from Ryan’s duties as co-host for the show.

Demi Lovato was also seen on Main Street, USA performing “Wonderful Christmas Time.”

To see more, don’t miss the Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade on ABC, which airs December 25.
