What do you think will be announced in the next D23 Expo
Now I know we do not yet know if there will be a D23 Expo 2010, but it's our job as fans to dream. Lol. Anyway, here's what I think may happen...

I believe that they will have a tradition of announcing a new major attraction in the end of each year's show. For example, Star Tours II was announced this year next year who knows maybe: a new land for the parks or something.

D23 Expo 2010
What I think will be announced...

  • New entertainment for the parks(parades, shows, fireworks, spectaculars, etc.)
  • New video for Soarin'.
  • An HD upgrade for all 3D movies WDW has to offer.
  • More details on DCA Expansion and Fantasyland Expansion.
  • Fantasmic! Updates for DHS.
  • Removal of the Sorcerer's Hat for DHS.
  • New E-ticket for both parks (a la Star Tours II)
What do you guys think will be announced?

WAY to early. We will have to see how things are next summer,we will see where the economy/theme park attendance is then to tell.

September of 2010... Harry Potter will be open for a few months, this will be the announcement of Disney's reaction or non-reaction to Potter's effects.

Assuming Potter doesn't merit drastic reaction, and considering the precedent that was set this year - a major refurb, and a major expansion, I would expect something similar. A major refurb -Soarin' Over the World, and a major expansion - presumably a D/E ticket or details on Pixie Hollow portion of the new Fantasyland.

I don't think the removal of the hat will happen and if it does it won't be announced.

By E-Ticket for both parks would you mean Epcot and Animal Kingdom?

If so, I'd say yes to Epcot, no to Animal Kingdom as of now, but it is much, much too early to tell.

~Fantasmic! Updates for DHS. Oh, how I wish this will happen. Especially if (or when) they go back to two nightly shows.
~New E-ticket for both parks (a la Star Tours II) I am definitely more for EPCOT getting a new E-Ticket (coughWScough) but I also agree that DAK is fine with what it has now.
