Lockers at the Parks

How much are they?

I plan on taking a light weight winter coat and gloves and a hat (I know it may not be that cold this month) but I would rather be prepared.

I looked on several websites and could never really find the answer. I did see that at Disneyland their locker fee is $10 a day with a deposit. I don't know if this is the right answer. Good luck!!!

Oh wow! Why can't I remember this??? We get lockers all the time. LOL! I wanna say it's like $10 but when you bring the key back you get a refund of some portion of that amount. Or maybe it's more and $10 is the rental amount? I'll have to ask the hubby when he get's back into his office....

A standard size locker will rent for $10 a day with a $5 refundable deposit included in the price. So you will pay the locker attendant $10 in the morning and get $5 back at the end of the day when you return your key. A large locker will run you $12 a day with the same $5 refundable deposit. If you want to park hop, inform the CM when you return your key and they will print you out a receipt and inform you to hand the receipt into the CM at the locker rental location at the new park to get a new key without having to pay the locker rental fee again (they won't give you the $5 back at this time). When you return your key at the second park that is when you will get your $5 refund.

We always rent lockers so I'm fairly well versed in how the locker rentals work. If you have any other questions feel free to ask. Taking a jacket with a hat and mitts is a good idea. We made good use of ours last December. It was quite chilly last year. Also if you go out on the water at all at night you will definitely need them. It may be warm on land but once you get out on the open water (i.e. heading to FW or the WL) boy will you need them!

Hope this helps.

Will should bring a jacket but I dont think that the gloves will be needed but if you want to bring them thats fine. I live in south Florida and gloves are never needed here no matter what time of year it is and I have lived in Florida my whole life. But to each is own and if you have enough room to lug that stuff then go ahead.

Tell that to the lifeguards at the Contemporary Resort who wanted our mitts last December. We'll be bringing our mitts when we come down in December, we always bring them when we come at this time of year, you never know what type of weather you're going to get.

Trust me, much better to be prepared than not. Our travelling companions last year did not follow our instructions and pack a little bit of everything and ended up having to purchase hats and mitts the first night because it was on the chilly side and they were cold. They were not happy mouseketeers.

A year ago, I would have agreed with you. However, this past January it was FREEZING at night time and I had no gloves or hat. I am from IL, while not as cold as IL, it was not too much off. So I am just being prepared.

I'm from Toronto, Ontario, I agree, while Orlando doesn't get anywhere near as cold as Toronto, it still does get quite chilly. Hats and gloves never go amiss at this time of year.

We're from MI Seriously - consider hitting the Web, and pick up some FLEECE, 300 weight. Cabela's has these - and you can stuff at least TWO into a very small pack. I can't tell you how many times, in early Feb. at night, that others in the parks looked upon us with HATE in their eyes as they froze in their shorts and Mickey Hoodies
