Its about that time to start a new one of these as DLR heads into the off season, more refurbishments will kick in soon.

Both have been added since the old thread did not have them. Looks like not only are the Fantasyland dark rides all getting refurbishments but so are the E-Tickets:sohappy:.

Space Mountain is now closed for refurbishment for its Halloween installation of Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy and Mark Twain is down for its refurbishment.

Editor's Note 9/8: First Posted 9/4: Captain EO Update - Honey I Shrunk The Audience will be closed Tues thru Thurs. WDI will be installing the Captain EO special effects to prepare the theater for Thur's private performance of the old show for Jay Rasulo and other bigwigs in Anaheim for the D23 Expo. Assuming Rasulo can find Tomorrowland (turn right in front of the castle) and no one in the audience has any objections to the show, Rasulo should then announce EO's Jan return during his Expo presentation on the 12th. - Al Lutz

Honey I Shrunk The Audience has now showed up on Disneyland.com's official calendar as closed today through Thursday. It wasn't on there last week, and it wasn't on there when Al Lutz broke the news that it would be closed for a test run of Captain EO.

But now, suddenly, it's on the list and is closed for three days. Miceage strikes again! I hope Jay enjoys his private showing! :lol:

MasterGracey Just a head's up, Trackerheads.
I'm receiving word that DCA's CALIFORNIA letters will have construction walls around them next week "for construction and maintenance." But don't get your hopes up -- they're not going away (yet). The work has to do with drainage issues, and not the DCA remodel.

Some updates to the OP, Haunted Mansion is now down for its change over to Haunted Mansion Holiday. What ever was needed for Minnie's house is done and Jumping Jellyfish is operating at half capacity.

Does anyone know what they are doing to Casey Jr. Circus Trains & Storybook Land Canal? Are they just cleaning them up and giving them a fresh coat of paint?

I'd imagine so, what ever it is its quite extensive theres a few pics during the 5K run both engines were being taken apart.

10.02.09 — Smooth Sledding
Matterhorn Bobsleds side B (nearest to Storybookland) will open on October 2 after a short refurbishment. This track is longer than side A (nearest to Autopia) but offers a calmer trip down the mountain.

The Castle moat has been drained most likely for work on the bricks on the bridge and the rocks.

Columbia came back from refurbishment and is suppose to go down again this week. Its probably split since Fantasmic! performs on the weekends.

Lincoln now has a return date of Dec 16. and Casey/Story have a new return date.

Space goes down for a day to remove Ghost Galaxy
Jungle is now on the list, as well as King Arthur Carrousel.

The Jungle Cruise one is interesting since there seems to be a lot of work on the water ways at DL lately, with Storybook, currently the castle moat, Jungle and ROA is rumored to be next. Granted there all connected so maybe a good cleaning?

The moat surrounding Sleeping Beauty Castle has gone dry.

No, California’s drought hasn’t affected Princess Aurora’s humble abode, at least not yet.

Rather, the moat is drained just to do some regular maintenance work that is occasionally done on the base of the castle, Disney spokesman David Gill said.

While drained, the base of the moat will be cleaned.

Disney plans to have the moat refilled by the end of the month.
