Based upon the polling at: http://forums.wdwmagic.com/showthread.php?t=47825

Ive gone ahead and mapped directions from CB resort (I figgured it would be the "middle" of WDW). Make sure you call for store times and correct directions, these might not be the closest location to your hotel. I didnt list the Goodings because its across the street @ DTD.

Happy Shopping

Personally, I recommend Publix. Their prices are fairly resonible and is fairly close to all WDW hotels. And also (once again only Indy 95 and Testtrack321 would understand) who else could beat "THE BEER CHAMBER" mmmmm beer!!!!!

as living 25 minutes from disney, i would strongly recommend publix although most alberstons are open 24 hours a day so you can go shopping after park hours.

Goodings would be your best bet ONLY if you were looking for expensive items such as wines or gourmet foods, however the prices a VERY HIGH. If your looking for the usual items, then either Publix or Winn Dixie (on Vineland/Apopka, a mile north of Crossroads) would be much cheaper, which the prices slightly better at Publix.

There is a much closer BJ's on Osceola Parkway. Only set back is you'll need to pay a $1.50 toll. However, it is much much closer to WDW.

I would HIGHLY recomend. I work for publix and i can tell you that the company is built around customer service. That is just my opinion.

To touch on the bj's thing though. At Bj's isnt it one of those bulk warehouse stores and you have to buy things in large qauntities, and you have to have a membership. Im not sure but thats is what i though it was.

I'd go out of my way to go to Publix. I shop nowhere else when I'm at home too. Luckily the Kissimmee Publix is really well located. Cool idea with the maps, by the way

Publix is the bestest supermarket ever! I wasn't all that impressed with Gooding's.

Up north we're stuck with Shop Rite, Redner's, Hannaford, Stop & Shop, Price Chopper, Grand Union, Wegman's.. what I wouldn't give to have a Publix around here.

If I recall, isn't there another Publix near by? I don't have the info on me, but we go to a different one that is a lot less crowded than the one on International usually is.

Publix

I recall going to a publix right off of 192. It is on the left side if coming from Disney property on 192. It set off of the road and it is at a weird angle in relation to 192.
