Awww! Sounds fantastic!I took a walk through the park today. It was a typically sunny and hot July day with that golden California sunlight they write songs about, and the park just sparkled.
All the CM's today had on their "We're 54 Today!" birthday buttons they pass out on the anniversary, and the place just had a very festive and upbeat mood, even more than usual. The captain on the Mark Twain had a very nice announcement about the anniversary of the boat and the park, and thanked all of us for visiting "Walt Disney's Magic Kingdom" on this particular day.
I do have to say that the park looks just wonderful lately, and the upkeep and maintenance from the 50th has obviously continued over the past few years. You could never guess that many of the buildings and facades are over 50 years old and have seen over 500 Million people tromp through them.
Bravo Disneyland! And, thanks Walt! :sohappy:
