I see on the schedule that Dream Along With Mickey show is down for refurbishment Janaury 6-20. Does anyone know if the show is changing?

I heard from someone in the show that the dark period was just to fix the castle stage, and that Dream Along with Mickey was staying.

The Castle Stage is getting a new stage deck.

No new big show changes. I imagine preventative maintenance will also occur on much of the show equipment during this time.

Yes yes...those planks that make up the stage weren't exactly manufactured for that purpose :)

In the sun 365 days a year, subjected to extreme temperatures, and getting danced on. Many boards warp and bend. Doesn't make a good dancing surface. There were tons of holes, in plenty of the planks, where new holes had to be drilled again to keep them down and flat.

I believe they are going with something else now. You won't notice a difference. It's just time consuming.

You guys get too happy too quickly!

New Firing System does not = New Pyro Product.

New Firing System = New Firing System

I doubt there'll be any changes to the product anytime soon.
