I finally got to get my Disney fix yesterday after enduring the forced blackout on the seasonal AP's. :lol:
We hit the Studios first and by 10:15am, the wait for TSM was 60 minutes and went up to 90 while we were in line. The FastPass returns were between 6:40 - 7:40pm already.
After that we hit MK and spent the rest of the day there. Right as we came in we were greeted by the sign announcing the new parade route:

They also made announcements over the park PA system before each parade letting people know there would be no viewing from Frontierland or Liberty Square.
Other people have posted pics of the bridge so I won't duplicate that but man! It's crazy to see past/under the tarps that it's actually sawed off in places and there are entire sections that are GONE.
Not sure what this is about but the red pavement areas in Liberty Square - by the Funnel shop, and in front of the Hall of Presidents - were all deeply scored. I guess they're removing these areas for redo? I don't know. But it was everywhere in the RED pavement areas:
And, the reports of Castle lights going up is correct. It's hard to see them really but when you look - ah ha! - there they are:

Speaking of Tomorrowland...Carousel of Progress had the funniest sign in their queue:
Fastpass? I asked the CM why they had a FP sign since they don't do COP FastPasses. She said, "Oh yes, they do!" And I asked where the distribution was for them. She told me that Buzz and Stitch were giving out "bonus" passes for COP. The silly thing? All it did was divide the ramp in two and then dump everyone into the main holding area the same as always. :lol: Though I will say there were more waiting crowds for COP it seemed throughout the day than normal (maybe 1/3 full theaters) so perhaps it worked.
And of course, I HAD to get myself a COP FP because that's just too funny. So I went over to Buzz and to get one but it gave me generic FastPasses - unnamed - instead of the Buzz ones and NO COP one. So I asked the CM manning the FP and he said they ran out of the normal green/white Buzz passes and had to run the generic ones. I mentioned I wanted a COP FP for collection purposes because it was funny and he said they'd all been laughing about that. Someone had left theirs so he gave me those:
