EPCOT Tidbits 7/31/08: Imagination LIT!
Hello all! Just got back from a pleasant day at the best park in the world! Have a couple of things that I noticed over the course of the day to share:
-There is a construction wall around part of the former Leave a Legacy sales area. Not sure what that is about.
-A couple of Cast Members at Innoventions mentioned that the new StormStruck venue (replacing Forests for Our Future in the East side) might soft open Monday.
-The new set of EPCOT Center pins are out, one each for Spaceship Earth, CommuniCore, The Land, Journey Into Imagination, and (best of all) HORIZONS! I don't know how long they have been out, but I don't think it has been too long. The latest Piece of Disney History is out, too, featuring Journey Into Imagination. The back says that the piece is from some banner sign for the original version of the pavilion.
-The main glass pyramid at Imagination is now once again FULLY LIT! For a while, since the first redo I believe, it was completely dark. Sometime a few months ago, subtle red lighting appeared. And now, tonight I noticed it with much brighter lighting, definitely the brightest it's been since the late 90's. So here are crappy cell phone pictures from this evening:
With the rumors, the new shirt, so many other things, and now this, it seems like the pavilion is slowly rebooting, revving up for something exciting!

I looked it up on the DPT site... it was released on 7/1 and they're doing 750. Did they have a good amount left? I'll definitely hit up Epcot tomorrow if I can get one.
