Further to the Adventureres Club tribute thread, here`s some photos of how good a night could once be had.

I don`t often do this, but feel I have to. Feel free to add general PI pics to the thread.

So sad...At least you get to see them(and film!) during your next trip...

Admittedly,I'm to young to go in but I did plan on it when I turned 21.:(

Thanks Martin for the great photos, they bring back memories for me. Do you happen to have any photos of one of my favorite places - The Fireworks Factory?

Martin,

I hope you don't mind me adding a few of overall PI photos from the years.

Where was Jim Hill when we needed him the most!!!!!!!

:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
He nailed this (at least abstractly) months ago. Remember the Night Kingdom rumor he posted? It mentioned how a version of AC would move there after all of PI shut down.

Whether NK or the semi-AC comes to fruition, PI is closing.

I have a question, was the "Island" already there or did they build the island, you know what I mean? Like back fill dirt and rock and all that.

If you believe Disney legend, it was unearthed - complete with abandoned buildings - when Disney were building AMC10.

In truth, a channel was dug out from the lake to make the 6 acres look like an island. It ended up a year behind schedule due to construction problems and twice over budget at $30m.
