No rumors or debates, just you're opinion! What would YOU want it to be themed as?

I think it would be a cool idea to have a park about the disney villlains like the rumors that have been going around. you could do so much with that idea and maybe even create the ride that was supposed to be placed inside the beastly kingdom at AK. That would be so cool and that's my opinion .

Not-a-thrill-ride-park?

I keep hearing people talk about a coaster park a thrill park or something akint ot that and i'd really just like a park that is "thrill" free. I can go a day without being dropped, twisted, tossed, or flung.

I think I'm with you on that point overall. I think a park with ONLY thrill rides would be a mistake, because even a thrillseeker like me enjoys a nice change of pace in the form of a dark ride. I appreciate WDW's great dark rides as much (and maybe a little more) than the thrill rides.

I like the idea of a thrill park... if you want to relax go to the other 4 parks they have.. it shouldnt all be thrills tho the majority of it should be thrill rides but throw in a couple of dark rides, some 3d shows, and some other shows and attractions and you got yourself a good park

That's the problem lately.. it should never start with "it should be a thrill park" or "we need a 3D movie."

It should start with an idea and that should lead to conveying that idea as well as possible - if it takes a 3D movie then you build a 3D movie. If it takes a thrill ride, then you build a thrill ride. Whatever that idea, message, theme, etc.. is should be key. Not just "making rides."

Nonexistent...at least until:
1. All six Parks (I'm including the Water Parks) have filled any holes they've created by shuttering attractions (Wonders of Life, Skyway, Galaxy Theater, The Diamond Horseshoe, the Odyssey, Millenium Village, etc.)
2. Chester n' Hester's, LMA, Journey Into Your Imagination, Test Track, and Under New Management are destroyed and something worthwhile is put in their place.
3. All empty spots within the Parks that can be used for new attractions are filled in. There's plenty of room in Animal Kingdom, new countries could be added to World Showcase, new pavilions could be added to Future World, the 20000 Leagues plot in the Magic Kingdom, etc.

This, as a guess, will probably take around 20-30 years, if not more. Honestly, though, I don't think a seventh Park is needed right now.

^ Agreed, mostly.

I don't want to see any type of new 5th gate until DHS and DAK both have enough attractions to fill up one day, and not just for first timers who just want to see everything, including all the shows.

I would still love to see Disney's America. Disney Sea, but I'm not sure it would fit in Orlando.

A park based on the video game worlds would make an absolute fortune. I can't come up with a good park title, but can you imagine how separate areas like "Mario Land" or "Sonic's Station Square" or "Kingdom of Zelda" or "Myst Island" would be received. Whew, I can't believe this hasn't been done yet by someone. Just keep the violent garbage out.

Heading for the great escape.
A dream untill MGM is more than a 3 hour park, Epcot has new counties and two E tickets front of park area, AK needs three rides at least 1 of which should be E ticket, two E tickets and three smaller attractions at MK, some additions to the water parks and a partridge in a pear tree.

^ It's happened already. Very low budget, but it's happened.

If a 5th Gate came to be (unlikely), I wouldn't like to see all thrills... but rather something new. Something original. Something so extraordinary that my imagination cannot conjure anything.

Virtual reality? Like DQ, but with more comfortable headgear and full on experiences rather than glorified arcade games.

A Florida DisneySea park (but only if they spent the same time/money on it which would NEVER happen)

or a Yesterland park with all of the classic attractions

I would love to see a villains themed park with all rides and no shows. I would like to see a pretty even split of big thrills, family friendly thrills (40" height requirement) and classic dark rides. Thrills of both kind making up about half of the attractions and dark rides or entirely new style of ride that we can't even imagine right now making up the other half.

I don't see why some of you think it won't happen anytime soon. So far, there has been a new gate every decade, and it's already too late to have one built for the 2000-2010 decade, so I'd assume they would want one within the first 2 years of 2010-2020.

I wouldn't mind a DisneySea type of park with its own flair of course. Something definitely Disney inspired but not Disney related meaning I don't want to go to "Neverland" because it limits what can go in the park without seeming just placed or awkward.
