Has anyone noticed that there is a construction entrance off of Buena Vista Drive near 536 (aka EPCOT Center Drive)?
In talking with a CM, we got on the subject of Pop Century's opening being postponed (BTW, he said Disney is going to finish the project, but keep it closed). I asked him why there has not been any news about the Bonnet Creek resort, and he got this big grin on his face and laughed.
He mentioned that Bonnet Creek Resort was not on Disney property. It is one of the land-locked pieces of property that Disney was never able to aquire. Apparently, the property owners have finally decided to make a resort of the space.
Can anyone confirm this? I recall stories that there were some hold-outs to selling thier property to Walt, so it seems that this could be a legit story.
