boy, my dad would LOVE this! he's always wanted a Haunted Mansion themed restaurant in the MK...looks like this would be the next best thing! but how are they having a dining experience INSIDE the HM? i am understanding that correctly, right? there will be dining INSIDE the attraction, yes? will the attraction be operated during this time? ...i'm just really confused by this. can someone explain to me how this dining experience inside the HM attraction takes place?

also, are you able to take pictures of the various events. if so, would you all mind taking a few and posting them here so those of us unfortunate enough to miss this can take a glimpse of what it's like? it'd certainly be much appreciated by me, and others as well, i'm sure!

They either shut down the attraction or wait until the park closes. They won't have people riding the attraction watching people eat dinner. I think you eat in the stretching room area/entrance area.

dinner

The dinner is served in the foyer area. I have a picture of it in a book I have.

Secondly: I cannot believe the price of that thing! Wow! I mean, I have nothing against it if it's not affecting everyone else who paid regular price to go (which it won't since it's after closing). I'd love to do something like that!

I just cant believe someone would spend so much money on something like that. Wow!

sounds like an awesome event but i doubt i would thing about it. If i am reading it right , you dont get regular entrance to the park. also people are complaining about the high priced one. You get 2 nights in the grand floridian. and an awesome, once in a lfietime experience. thats my 2 sense

Ok, well, $2,250.00 for two nights and an awesome dinner still sounds a little bit much if you ask me. Just my 2 cents. That's only 2 NIGHTS! Thats just nuts!

I was considering going to it, but I'm not crazy about eating dinner in the Haunted Mansion. When I go on the ride, I be smelling stuff!:) To me, eating in the HM would be like eating in a bathroom- they just don't go together:hurl:

You don't actually eat dinner in the Haunted Mansion (unless you are one of the 25 people who pay $2000.00+). Last year we were at the Columbia House where the buffet included carved filet mignon, a carved fish which I can't remember that was excellent and various other really great items like pastas, salads, fajita bars, desserts and side items. The food was spread out over several locations but was the same at each. I think you could eat at the Diamond Horseshoe as well, but as it has been almost a year I can't remember. :slurp:
