Toy Story 1, 2 & 3 in 3D!

Did a quick search on this but found nothing (plus this is the first time I've ever had anything to post which falls in to the 'News' caregory.

It's been confirmed that Toy Story 1 and 2 will be re-released in 3D before Toy Story 3 is released in 2010! The third film will also be released in 3D.

Makes sense, an excuse to make more money of Toy Story, but making it seem new enough for old fans to see it again, plus new fans to experience for the first time, while drumming up renewed interest in the franchise.

The only downfall i can see in the plan is that Digital projection is still a dream in the majority of the cinemas in the UK, while the US is leaps ahead theres still alot of room for progression.

But still, this wouldn't cost Disney much to process the old master into a new 3D master, so for them its kinda a win win. Some hype and publicity before Toy Story 3 hits the masses.

It will be even better in 3D, cant wait!!

I love the toy story movies and cant wait for the 3rd. Seeing them in 3d will be fantastic.

I've always thought the Toy Story franchise would be a great idea to make a 3-D movie from, albeit one at the theme-parks, not at the cinema.
