I just was bored.. I do have a life I swear it. :) :lol:


I just did the ride.

Radio: " Mission Control this is the firing room , give us a go , no go for launch."
*Radio Chatter *
Radio: "You are go for launch."
" We have Main Engine Start,

5 4 3 2 1........"

Firing Room -"Mission Control the tower is clear, they are all yours."

Capcom - "Misson control to mars X-2, you are go and throtle up!"

" Commander... Initiate first stage seperation... NOW!"

* Click *
Computer - " Initiated."
Computer - " 0-G Confirmed "

Capcom - " You're looking good team."

" Piolt... Engage Second Stage Rocket... NOW!"

*Click*

Computer - " Engaged "

Computer - " Earth's Orbit.. Velocity.. 15,000... 16,000... 18,000

Capcom - " You should have view of the Space Station now, and you are on course for your sling shot around the moon.."

" Navigator.. Fire rockets for lunar orbited insertion.. NOW"

* Click *

Capcom - " Beautiful site isnt it? Somthing to dream about on the way to mars."
" Engineer.. Activate Hypersleep.. NOW!"

*Click *

~ Cabin Goes Dark ~ 3... 2... 1....

* Alarm *

Capcom - " Rise in shine, lets go team, we gotta problem!"

Computer - " Beginning evasive manuvers."

Capcom - " The metor storm is directly over your mars landing site.."
Computer - * Proximity Alert *

Capcom - " Piolt.. Deploy the shields.. NOW!"

* Click *
Computer - " Shield Deployed."

Capcom - " We are getting you outa there right now!"

" Navigator.. Fire rockets for decent.. NOW!"

* Click *

Computer - " Two Hundred Miles to planet surfice.."

Capcom - "Engineer... Extend wings for gliding... NOW!"

* Click *
Computer - " Wings Extended ."

Capcom - " We lost auto piolt!"

" Commander.. Activate manual control.. NOW!"

* Click *
Computer - "Activated. "

Capcom - " All hands on the control sticks. "

" Pull Left!"
" Left.. Pull Left!"

"Watch the canyon walls!"

" now right!"

" Ease it left"

"Back to center.." " Hold it steady.."

"Pull Back, watch the barrier.. PULL BACK!"

" HANG ON!"

" Down and... CLEAR!"

Computer - " Location.. Canyon Edge.."

Capcom - " Don't move.. a Muscle...."

" Good work team, you made it to the landing site, welcome to the Astronaut Core!"

Why couldn't Gary Senise, being the professional actor that he is, memorize his few lines for the M:S pre-show video? His jittery, teleprompted eyes get really annoying really fast.

I hate to say it, but the 10 year old pre-show videos at Universal's Back to the Future are much better than the M:S videos. That's right, I said it. Heck, even Dinosaur's video (whose scientist isn't the most accomplished of actors) is easier to watch.

Ouch!!! :lol: While I do not agree with you at all (especailly with Back to the Future) I can definately see where you are coming from. You can tell there is definately some type of cue card or teleprompter going on.

My all time favorite preshows are (Of Course!!! :lol: ) Alien Encounter, Tower of Terror, and Dueling Dragons (Even though nobody stops to see the stained glass windows).
