Digital Scrapbooking Free Online Course

Back in June, I discovered two online scrapbooking courses on the Disney Family.com website. They have several classes in their Learning Center on various subjects. One was a basic intro to scrapbooking course and the other was a digital course. I would have posted the link back then but wouldn't you know the course ended that night at midnight. Well, I have been watching for them again and they now have the digital class back again.

I thought it would be helpful for any of you guys and gals that want to see what is involved in going digital. I personally thought it was very informative. It gives you links to download a kit to work with during the course and the option of downloading a print version of the course (which is new this time).

This course ends on November 8

Thank you so much for this link - I had been wanting to try digital scrapbooking, but did not know where to start. I did the course, and although I had a few hiccups, I have nearly finished it. I have done one quickpage, and another of my own, from the tutorial. I found it a bit difficult because I could not download PS Elements as I am using a mac, but I used my own photoshop cs v 8.0. Some of the commands were a bit different, and I was not able to do everything, but at least I now know where to start and what to do! I will try and post my first layout. Fingers crossed....

I think those pages are great. Awesome job! I'm all signed up for the class too and can't wait to get started.

Okay, so rather than putting my house back together after a week of getting new carpet and painting, I finally finished the digital scrapbooking class instead. Although I had dabbled a little bit before, I learned a ton from this class about Elements. Here's the result:

I'm still not converted to digital over traditional though. :)

Thanks. It really was a good intro course to take. As you can see by mine and Minnie's layouts, they give you elements to download and work with as part of the class. It's fun to see how different people put together the same basic elements though!

wow, that is really nice! i really like how you used the water looking paper as part of the background and the paint stroke under and over the ribbon. i would love to take this course now also.
i just don't have any more time, i am working my butt off now (and it was suppose to be part time only). oh the things i do for another trip to disney! after this trip in dec i am cutting back on work hours.
