I was reading the new Birnbaum 2008 Guide and saw where it says 2 new scenes are added to SpaceShip Earth :a 1960s mainframe computer room and a garage scene depicting the creation of the personal computer. It also says the rides finale has the most dazzling scene. It says that the audience is placed in the heart of communicationsrevolution amid interactive global networks(presumably Siemens) that tie all the people of the world together.
It also says that your picture will be snapped while on the ride and you can see yourself after the ride.

I know we have heard a new voice to be used to take us on the Journey(Patrick Stewart??) but what does everyone think of the possible added scenes and what scenes do you think they may have removed if any and do you think they have altered the track in anyway?

Wasn't the 1960's mainframe computer room bigger than all of Spaceship Earth? How are they gonna cram that in? :ROFLOL:

Regarding the garage scene, are they gonna have an AA of Steve Jobs?

I would assume that the two added scenes take the place of the static-figure boy and girl talking to each other.

They can't really do much in terms of altering the ride track, at least in terms of its path. They may have done some work to it.

Everything else mentioned will happen on the backwards descent, and what you wrote is about all that's been leaked regarding the new finale, apart from screens being installed in the cars for each row, though it's not clear if they're interactive or not.

Considering that it was Steve Wozniak who invented the apple and not Steve Jobs I would really hope they wouldn't be historically inaccurate by playing jobs in the scene. If anything Jobs would just be the guy yelling at Woz how much money they could make if he'd quit playing with his invention and sell it.

True.......but, keep in mind that Jobs has ties to Disney. Anything is possible. :animwink:

The so called garage scene or computer room has me a little apprehensive now, all I get is a mental picture of the industrial bare cheap scrap metal look and blinking light machine cabinets inside journey into imagination in some of its scenes.
But hoping my thoughts are proven 110% wrong. But still :lookaroun
