Hi all!!!

My CP interview is Oct. 3 and I am SOOOOOO EXCITED!!!! I have wanted to participate in the CP since i heard about it at age 12 and now i finally have a chance!!!! Anyway, I have read all of the posts that offer tips and advice when interviewing but i was wondering if anyone could let me know what types of questions the recruiters ask.
Secondly, I will be attending a CP audition on Oct. 5. I dont really know what to expect from the audition. I have alot of dance and theater experience and i am about 5'4" with a slim/athletic build. If anyone has been to a CP audition I would love to know about your experiences!
Finally (sorry this is getting a little long!) If I do not pass the entertainment audition could i still be considered for a role in something for the CP like operations or retail? I would love to work in entertainment, but if i dont get accepted I still want to be a part of the program! Believe me, i will do anything to work at WDW!!!
Thanks for all your help!!!:sohappy:

Hi there. I will try to answer your questions:
1) The questions usually vary as to which roles you pick. For example, my first CP I did merchandise and the question was "if the shop is out of an item that the guest wants, what would you do". Then my 2nd CP I was going to audition, so a question was "if you were "assisting" Pooh, and there was a child in line who had been there for 20 minutes and was getting impatient, what would you do". So it all depends.

2) I have been to 4 auditions. When you first get there, you are measured and given a number. The audition takes place in 2 parts: animation and dance. The animation part is like doing charades and acting something out (for example, making a sandwich). Then comes the dance part. It is in counts of 4, and starts easy and gets harder. That's it in a nutshell. Some people also get called back for a puppet part, or for another dance audition.

3) Yes. I didn't pass my audition for the CP, and I got character attendant.

i would love to just do a standing around part

im not much of a dancer. i would trip over my feet even if ortega was teaching me dance moves. thats how bad i am at dancing. retail i could go for it. as long as they dont put me on a cash register. i cant handle money real well.

thanks for your help. I was also wondering if your race/ethnicity will help or hurt at the audition. I am 1/4 japanese with a darker skintone and most people tell me i look hawaiian or "exotic, but they cant place it." Also, i am about 5'4". do you know if that will hurt or help? i realize that i will have to do fur as well if i am accepted. thanks again! PS: my profile pic is a picture of me, although it is a year old if that helps any

They do not look at race (unless it is to be "friends" with a princess, ect). As for height, usually real is not the same at the auditions. It can be changed to whatever they need. So you might actually be taller or shorter.

just realize that the audition is basically to do fur, and if you get accepted, then you might have the opportunity to do face- not the other way around
