Live trip report for Aug 19

Well the wife and I are going to run by Epcot for the day and maybe MGM later on. So i'm going to do another live trip report while we are here.

We started out our day at the DTD entrance. I noticed these new signs for parking.

The wand is all gone except a little stub that is maybe 20 feet tall.

The birds were working but their mouths weren't opening.. Odd.

Scuba divers were in the lockout chamber...

werd! This will be cool. So what if I am one of those people that enjoyed the wand being up there! Maybe its because i'm 18. Well can't wait to see more...btw enjoy your day at the parks!

The birds outside Nemo have been malfunctioning for weeks now. Only 1 of them moves, their mouths are stuck open, but the sounds still play.

I do a live trip report with a fancy cell phone haven't done one in a while due to the blackout dates on the fl seasonal AP... and no I do the u/l and stuff while in lines... in maelstrom line right now

So glad our black out period is over but its still scorching out here... And crowds are thinner than I would expect. Unfortunately fastpasses were at a premium today.... Soarin was at 3:30 by 10:00 am...

Fountain View looks to have new life as an ice cream shop... Still closed though

Wonders of life is depressing looking... No dna or sign.

I love reading your live trip reports - it's a great idea :sohappy: It makes me feel like I'm actually in the parks

(Would you mind if I tried your idea out in January? Mom has one of those fancy phones through work - and it's her job to test out the capabilities of it to the extremes... wonder if I can upload from inside Test Track :lookaroun)

We did single rider at test track and actually got to sit together... 15 min wait for us but 90 for stand by. Still haven't spotted the muppet mobile lab that I have heard is rumored to be here...

Maelstrom was fun as always but is closing at 8 tonight for some reason.

China is revealing a little more and looking good!

They have a more permanent looking booth for the AK DVC...

Saying goodbye to Alfredos in Italy with a nice lunch. Also first time using our Disney Dining Experience card

Construction in italy to redo the bridge... It was totally gone

Loved the updated American Adventures... They also had some live preshow event we missed with face characters. The entrance seems cleaner as well but it has been awhile.

Japan still under rehab and the restaurants are closed

Millennium village got a new exterior paint job... Not sure what they are going for

O Canada is getting much needed love finally... My view of Canada will be updated

The games in the soarin' queue were on but no one was running it... Also it seems that soarin was down for awhile

Fountain view is open! Had great ice cream. I don't think I have ever been inside it.
