Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow.
It used to be that....but we were told by our managers, that now they don´t want people to mention that.... it is now simply EPCOT, with no meaning at all. The Community of Tomorrow was supposed to be Celebration, but I don´t think that worked out as planned anyways.... and that´s another story....

every pocket comes out thinner... Employee polyester costumes of torture lol And isnt the real meaning of EPCOT Experimental prototype CITY of tomorow? Oh well thats how learned it And no, I havent played ches on a tuesday...But then I dont kno how 2 so that could be why, right?

|
Walt Disney's vision of EPCOT was a working university that would showcase not only the worlds best professors and best minds, but also cutting edge technology. This would be more of a school than a theme park. However, he wasn't around when it was built and it was modified to be a theme park.
Epcot used to be considered a "learning experience", and still is to some point, but now seems more and more like a theme park than a place of learning.
