Welcome to the June 5th, 2007 Universal Orlando Pictorial. I stopped in for a few hours before going to WWE Smackdown/ECW that night at Amway Arena.

They added signage for the show and theatre to the "statue."

ROTM was advertising a 35 min. wait but the line was out the door and into the old IOA Preview Center building.

They were putting the Horror Make-Up Show letters back onto the sign - appeared to have been removed and re-arranged for a private event the day before.

BMG officially opens tonight (6/7)... rave reviews have come out of the previews that have been held since last Friday.

They added Sharp AQUOS Theatre signage to the canopy (I will miss the days of waiting in line for TNA tapings under that thing :lol: ).

Great update! Much appreciated. I wonder when we will see a construction wall go up by the Flying Unicorn for the construction of Hogwarts Castle. I hear that is phase 1 of the project so we should see construction soon.

Nice pictures, it's especially interesting to get a ground level idea of where Harry Potter will be taking over.

I'm actually going through Universal withdrawals right now. I last went on 4/20 for Gradbash, and it was just so crowded that we only got about five attractions done. I just feel like I need to go back and "finish."

Any word on when Dueling Dragons will go down to get Pottered?

I wholeheartedly second the idea for a Heroes attraction.

Is "The Flying Hippogriff" your idea, or actually confirmed? 'Cause I could see it either way. :lol:

yeah, I'm in Universal withdrawal as well. The last time I was there was way back in February and we haven't been back since we found out my wife is pregnant. I really wish I could just get away for even just a day and see some of my favorite sites there.

As for the HP things, I'm excited that some new things are coming although in truth we're only seeing one new ride out of this whole thing and since the Lost Continent was by far my favorite area of the island I'm really going to miss the theming there. At least Mythos and Poseidon will still be there as they're the best part of the theming for that island. I really hope the theming for HP blows away whats there for LC or I'll just be sad.
