I found several articles on the Internet about a theme park in China called Beijing Shijingshan Amusement Park, which seemingly is breaking EVERY copyright law in terms of anything Disney, including the park characters! Here are some links?

To add insult to injury, their slogan is "Disneyland is Too Far Away". How they get away with this is beyond me! :veryconfu

It does make me chuckle to see projects like this, reminds me of the Nara Dreamland project, I suppose it is a compliment that Disney Parks are such a great brand that people try to imitate them, but this in my opinion is going to far, Walt Disney Company have worked hard over the years to build their brand and have spent fortunes protecting and copyrighting their material, I think it is wrong that a company such as this can come along and steel their work.

It is incredible. It seemed China can copy everything. The movie, the parks, the brand. But I think that Walt Disney can keep its interest against. After all it is a big corporation.

Thing being, China lacks the copyright laws we have and is therefore able to get away with this stuff. I don't care. I think it's hilarious and let's face it. Disneyland IS too far away XD and I live in America. Imagine being in China :dazzle:

I thought they were the ones who made hello kitty?

And i mean come on, for all the things THAT we get from them minus the ones full of led paint. And if the people are happy, then why is it so bad?
