I'm going to do a big update... just got home and got the photos online. The wife and I went to MGM and MK on Sunday as we headed back home from visiting her dad... crowds were extremly light and everything was walk-on.

First, RNR's Queue was very different...

Queue area was boarded up and temporary stairs were put in place

There is now a wall where the old queue used to wrap around with the sign's and old tape decks. The control panel has been moved here as well. You can see it on the left of this photo.

Here is an enhanced photo of the new pre-show area.. the room is smaller and there is now only a small area on the step up to watch the pre-show... this will be for single riders only... once you left the room, you no longer merged with the upper deck area but met up later. Now you walk around the area with the poured concrete and shovel. Also the queue area by the loading area is gone... now you wait earlier than that.

Splash was looking great... as far as paint goes... the AA were barely working and was highly annoying... after a 3 week down time you think they would work. I did notice the lighting and audio was sounding and looking alot better. The water jets also worked as well. We were so lucky in that the seat in front of us got soaked... we were dry the whole time

Everything was nice and shiny

Fresh paint!

Back to MGM for High School Musical...

They now have a movable stage that the put infront of the big hat... was a neat show and looked to be exactly the same as the one in Tomorrowland

Great update, much appreciated.

I've been skeptical about the Contemporary DVC, but with the Racquet club being eliminated, that skepticism just flew out the window.

As far as the pep rally goes, thank god it is out of Tomorrowland...and there's finally something worthwhile under that hat (or at least almost under the hat)... perhaps they should continue to use the area as an entertainment venue (ala the castle stage at MK).

OH MY GOSH!!!! That is my husband in the red shirt with the little girl on his shoulders. I am pushing my daughter back on his shoulders because she was falling a little. My son is in the stroller sleeping. I moved him to face backwards because of the sun. Can you believe it?? What a small world!!!!!! Can you email these two pictures that you have of High School Musical????? How funny is that!!!!!!

PS. I think that I saw you. Were you wearing a black t-shirt with denim jean shorts? I think you were dancing the "dance" with some of the CM's.......

You're right about East Street being different - unless I'm mistaken the building that is now the "Art Festival" used to be an ice cream counter service.
