Chape's Big Blue WDW update 11/5/06

In the big blue world...I bring gifts to all of you! I won't write too much on the show as you can already find that, but I will tell you it was absolutely amazing!

-New signage

-The new entrance now runs down the everest side of the theater, and has a pretty large path. From there, you go through 2 double doors into the theater.

-Here's some images of the inside. I apologize for the blurry photos. NO photos of any kind are allowed of the actual show, not only for safety, but because (as mentioned by the Vice President who spoke), they don't want anyone experiencing this great show through a lens.

-The show was amazing and I hope they don't change a thing! Dory was great, as well as all the other fish. The Just keep swimming Number was the best, especially with the jellyfish. There was some Pryo use, and the charade fish did a killer job! My compliments to the ENTIRE cast and crew!

-The signs DO indicate which lanes are open!

I like the MK signs too, they seem handy, and not gaudy.

Thanks for the update the Castle paint job looks good and so do the christmas stuff (Which still seems to soon). The windmill is funny :lol:

Thanks for the update! I like the mural on the side of the Hess Express building. I hope it doen't fade to badly in the Florida Sun.

Is the seating still wooden benches? I have heard that it was on other sites, but I would like some confirmation. Chape, would you say it is now "the best stage show on property"? Was their much use of the actor's faces? Do you think that the show is too long for the average guest to sit through?

i really love the new hess gas station picture i hope it is finished.

Still Wooden Benches.

Definately best Stage Show, Lion King moves to 2nd

The actor's faces were always visable, as a matter of fact there were even some key moments when there were no fish on stage, or the puppets were down at the actor's sides, to convey the powerful point (a really great staging choice, IMHO)

It was a great lenth, not too long, not too short, even for the average guest.

How many people does the theater hold?

On 2nd thought, more like 1500 seated.

Theatre seating and layout has not changed at all from Tarzan so I would assume the capacity is the same. Such a good show I cannot wait to see it again.

I wanted them to replace the seats!!! I want a back on the seats!

There's a back on the seats, but haven't there always been those?

Wow, The Monorail looks hideous, that looks like someone threw paint on it as it came zipping by. :hurl:

Stitch looked better on the Monorail, he was only on two windows at least, this is all along the sides. :brick:

It's just the front and back cars, not the entire train.
