Great job with the photos rob especially the Spectacle of Lights photos :xmas:

When the lights are complety finished, do you think that you could take some pictures of Sol or general christmas items at the parks large enough to make backgrounds for the wdwmagic members ?

Holy crap! That's a lot of lights. I mean, I'd heard about the Osborne lights but I never realized it was quite that many. Wow. This is something I'd like to see in person. Stinks that I don't think I'm going to be able to make it back to Disney anytime this year.

What you can see in those pictures is only a small portion of the total display in past years. Does anyone know if they have the same number of lights this year, since its in a different place?

There will be less lights than previous years. The area is much much smaller than residential street, there is very little in the way of plants and trees, there are no roofs to most of these buildings, or sides, for that matter.

It may look like there may be a little bit more, but that's just because the buildings are taller, but no where near the amount that was on Res street.

I believe Disney has already made press releases stating that the Osborne Lights have been beefed up this year in numbers, "bigger than ever before." I know I read it in several places, most of them quoting Disney precisely that there are more Lights this year.

Unfortunately I cannot find my source now concerning exact numbers, but the Disney Website promises "the biggest display to date."

Regardless, the area looks great. But of course I'm hoping for more...

Excellent pics MKT...

quick question though... you mentioned on your picture page that things are not quite done yet
"...no power to some lights that are up, no audio..."
I am curious what kind of "audio" goes on with the lights??

Again, thanks for the pics.
